A:  Thank you for your inquiry. To answer your question, the rack plates and plate screws are only needed when used to install on a wire rack. If installing on a wire rack, they are secured underneath the wire shelf by putting plate screws through the slots and fastened to the rack plates. Please refer to page 5 step 3. A:  Yes, this pull-out wire basket can be mounted on a shelf of a wire shelving rack. Mounting hardware is included in the purchase. We recommend that you mount this on a wire shelving rack that has a depth of 18".

A:  Yes, Although it will be a very tight fit, it should clear your cabinets' 13.25" opening. Please make sure to make multiple measurements before securing them onto the cabinet.

A:  The rack plates will only be used when installing the unit on a wire shelving rack. The slides will be positioned on the top of the wire rack, and the rack plates positioned under the wire shelf to fasten the slides in place.
