Wood had cracks that could not be seen at time of purchase, I looked. Most of them broke under their own wight.

The boards for sale had few knots and were not warped. Many pieces were available in this size and was just what I was looking for. The price was reasonable.

The 1x2s were typical quality but it took several minutes to find 4 that were worth choosing. I rejected twice the number as I ended up selecting. The rejects were warped, twisted, or had voices or other significant flaws.

bought 14 pieces, only could use 12. 2 were warped, although I could cut and use sections.

We use common board for many projects. It paints and stains beautifully and is easy to mill into just about any shape needed. Occasionally it's a little too soft for the router table but I've mostly had success with it there as well. I use common board over pine particularly when the grain will stand out with staining, I feel it has more character than pine.

It’s lumber. What do you want? I’m not overly impressed with HD’s usual stock in narrow boards - many knots, defects, warping. It was difficult to find 2 pieces where I could cut a 6’ length that would be remotely straight and solid.

Straight and unwarped - used for supporting closet shelving - worked as intended.

Decent boards, used for making simple shelves. Just have to sort thru them all to find ones without damage or severe warping.

It’s the straightest nicest board I’ve seen in a long time I have no regrets for this purchase
