A: They are not thick or wide enough even if you put many together & I think they would break or crack/bend in the middle. I would do a 1 x 4 as a slat at least.
A: I would not use these as bed slats. My recommendation is that you use either 1x4 or 1x6”, depending on the width of the bed frame. Hope this helps!!

A: Probably, but it’s hard to find perfectly straight ones, so that’d be the biggest issue.
A: You could, but . . It's a very soft wood, will show wear & dents rather quickly and will only hold up to the elements if a good coat of paint is kept fresh on it. Even traditional hardwood tongue & groove will require some protection. Bottom Line - I would not recommend it.
