Too many knots and warped

Quality of lumber at Home Depot has been going down as prices are going up. Bought a few 1x4x8 boards for a project last week. Took 15 minutes to find some that would work for my project. Even at that 5 years ago they would be considered scrap wood. Not that happy with Home Depot now a days.

So the computer that adds the dye is way off, we were going for pewter and it came out as light grey. Our wonderful Home depot staff member in the paint section helped us get the right tint over several tries. Once you hit the light grey from the computer formula, add 480 drops of black and you'll end up with roughly pewter.

These were the four worst boards I've seen in a long time. I will never order wood and count on the Home Depot employee to pick out my boards

These were just the items needed for my home project.

This board was excellent. However, as with most lumber, you can not just grab one from the top of the pile. Since I'm using it as finish lumber for a table that I am making and didn't want to pay the $2+/foot of finish lumber, this was a nice alternative.

Boards were not completely dry, so they warped slightly after construction.

Tight knots, 2 sides surfaced. Worked fine. Gave it 4 stars.

Be sure to look at every board you choose, at least half are warped like a punk rock tour out of the 90s.
