100 Series Windows. Out of the box, there was more give in the window than seemed normal, but we thought perhaps with installation that would disappear. The installed windows now do not open and close properly. In the open position they stop at a slanted not straight position. After only a few times opening and closing them an inside piece just fell off exposing the guide which is also loose. Two weeks after contacting Andersen, they have still not contacted us or sent a service person.

Window it self is fine but ridiculously over priced

I had Andersen 100 Series windows installed on my home. After moving into my home , the manufacturer defects on the windows became apparent. They refuse to cover the labor on the repairs because the "initial quality" time period runs out after only 3 months. So, by the time the homeowner moves into the home, the labor portion is already expired! I have improperly installed weep holes, malfunctioning latches, broken balance springs, etc. These windows are the worst. The warranty is garbage! Run away from Andersen windows!!!

Arrived damaged. Did not slide nicely, it was wobbly. Screen does not slide. No lip on bottom of window to lift or close. Does not fold out to clean.

Have been installed and are good so far

The window itself is a good window but I ordered them in November with a delivery date stated December 7. I did not receive them until January 29; So I would not order unless time is not important to your project.

Replacing Anderson with Anderson is easy.

We dropped about $100k on Andersen 100 windows, french doors, and sliders. There are flaws with every single one of them. The windows are near impossible to open, hit the latch when they do, and jiggle around in the casing like an old 70's aluminum window. The sliders won’t open all the way and the locks pull away from the frame like they're attached with a rubber band. And the painted interior of the french doors aren’t sanded, have heavy brush strokes, and are all inconsistent in finish.

When we ordered with the help of the store associate, the online info showed that the windows met the code for Florida. We emphased that these were going to be installed in Florida. If we had them shipped to Florida the price went way up. So, we had them shipped to Tulsa and we transported them ourselves. When they came however, the box showed they were compatable only for states above Florida. With our time crunch, because they told us they would be in sooner, we had to take them and get them to Florida as we didn't sufficient window coverage. Therefore, we are not disappointed in the windows as much as we are disappointed that the wrong windows were shipped and we knew since it was after the hurricane we had no choice but to take windows that did not meet the standards for the part of the country they would be used. That was a disappointment. Note: origionally they were coming from Dallas and instead they were shipped later from a state up north. The windows we ordered that were compliant for Florida should never have been compromised. That is why we are disappointed.

Windows were easy to install and are well made. I will definitely buy more to complete our renovation.

Delivery was on time, window is great if I could get someone to install it.

This window is very solid and easy to operate (open and lock). The screen is detachable and therefore easy to clean. Mine hasn’t gone through any serious weather-testing, but I suspect it’ll be just fine :-)

Built better than most replacement windows. This window resisted racking during installation. This window operates flawlessly. My Wife was even impressed

We had an old Andersen window that needed an insert due to breakage. Where it needed to go would have made a new construction window almost impossible to put it. This fit like hand to glove and we had it in in less than 1/2 hour! Thanks!
