Took longer than we thought to put together but once it was up it look very nice. The door is sturdy and love the handles. Very satisfied!

Really nice door and I chose the black one and match my house. Only little trick to open the window .

Absolute nightmare. Bought one installer had a hard time and Home Depot wouldn't accept return due to damage while trying to Install. Bought same door assuming it was Installer, with professional Installer, door won't close easily and now I am out $432.... very poorly made and impossible to Install with out gaps at bottom of door, poorly made lock and mechanisms..

The door is nice as i have had the same door previously. However I picked up the door on May 23rd and had an installer come today and after taking off my old door all the hardware is missing from the new door, the piston, the door handle all of it. I’m soo upset as i can’t get through to the store called customer support who said she would get me through to the store to speak to someone so the store could pull the hardware from another door and when transferred the phone just rang and rang! I need help i paid over $200 for this door ! What am i supposed to do now? I have my old door off and no door handle or anything! Unbelievable

We love it so far. Good view to my back yard and good ventilation when the glass is down and just the screen. Matches my windows perfectly.

Easy to follow instructions made this door an easy do it yourself project. Very happy with the overall quality for a door in this price range. Worked out great for our side garage entry.

This door is easy to install but you must pay attention to the directions ... did 2 doors both I'm very happy with seem durable and strong.

I'm very happy with this door. I've received compliments from my neighbors. I particularly like the option for colonial style windows. Installation was easy.

I've installed many storm doors, and i'm familiar with how difficult the instructions can be (especially on a door with RH and LH swing options). There were a couple errors in the directions, but got past them. My major issue is that on this door, the bottom glass panel is a fixed panel, and on my door (after almost completely done with instal) I noticed the bottom right hand corner of the glass was loose and rattling and not fixed to the door. It was clearly a manufacturing issue (the other 3 corners are attached properly). Also, on the inside there are obvious seams on the plastic (see attached pictures), this was not apparent on any pictures online, and it looks really terrible. I called the 800# and was on hold for almost 20 minutes....then the service rep (who could hardly speak English) could not understand what I was saying. They said my windows need to be measured? and they sent me a link to a YouTube video on how to do this....the video was just a how-to on how to remove a door and replace it. I called back (waited on hold for another 15 minutes) and asked if I can return the door and the rep said since it is installed that cannot be done. So now I am stuck with a shoddy made door, no customer service help, and I can't even return it for something nicer or a replacement. Follow your hunch and spend your money on a higher quality door....so you won't have to deal with what I went through.

Beautiful Door! Very sturdy and well built. Kinda a pain to install but completely worth it!

I had waited a long time to replace my 3 exterior storm doors. When they were installed, I was very happy that I could open the screen easily, the look of the doors, and the functionality. But, it has now been a little less than 3 years since they were installed, and one of the doors is rusting and not closing properly (which defeats the purpose of an exterior door). I tried to get in touch with someone at HD to ask what kind of recourse I had. I do have to admit that it was the start of Covid-19 and stay-at-home guidelines. But I was shuffled to different departments (when I could actually get through to talk to someone) and ended up leaving my name, number, and reason for the call. I never received a call back. Attached are pics of the reason for being disgruntled. There are 3 areas of rusted out door. I had to scrape away the rust and corrosion for the door to even close.

Love my new storm door m, works just as I hoped. Now I’m able to keep the front door open and allow air to circulate. Thinking about going out and getting another for the back door.

Love the screen door. I had a contractor do the install and he said the directions were not very clear.

I have had this door for about two years now and was very happy with the design and function (able to retract the top glass that rolls down the screen). Had the door professional installed. First hint of a problem was when the wind blew causing noises. In looking at the door it is not flat, the top is slightly bowed out, while the bottom and middle fits fine. When the wind blows across the door we get various noises. Then came the top latch that holds the glass up. It either does not fit over the securing lip allowing it to fully latch, or the latch spring is bad, probably both. Result is each time the door is closed the glass drops slightly. Besides the glass dropping the door is generally leaky, allowing cold/warm air in at all times. And now the closure piston bracket broke. The bracket is poorly designed and the replacement part is advertised as re-designed on Anderson’s website for a good reason. The bracket is sturdy as is should be but there are only two 1/4” sections of metal that hold the bracket to the door frame attachment point and those failed. I called Anderson customer service, granted we are in unusual times, but response was slow. I needed to contact CS several times only to be told I would need to pay about $18 for a replacement - warranty past 1 year. Pay for a replacement part for one that was poorly designed?

Works great. Nice door. Use youtube instead of instructions when installing. Instructions are hard to follow but YouTube made it a breeze..

Order at store. Was in stock and picked up. Installed by my contractor. Looks nice. Like the locking door. 300 series does not have this option. This door has a clip to release to pull down the screen..tough to do until it gets worn in. Overall satisfied.

Andersen quality guaranteed!! Fantastic self-storing storm door. Will take 3-4 hours working by yourself to install. Best instructions EVER written-- thank you Andersen!!

Absolutely beautiful! love it!

I thought this would be an easy install - not so - I had someone to install the door and they didn't do it correctly. I had someone to come out from Home Depot and they would install it for 250.00 or 225.00 if I bought the any material needed to install door. When I purchased the door - it had 165.00 for installation. It the worst purchase I ever made - the box was open when I purchased the storm door - maybe someone purchased the door and returned it because it was difficult to install.

Great solid made, quality door! It really dresses up the front of the condo.

I spent about 3 hours installing it. The top corners had a gap for water to get in. I removed the top and added some caulking. The bottom has no seal to protect the partial board core from water. The inside has a gap on both sides and you can see exposed wood underneath. I don't expect it to last long. I would take it down and return it if home depot would take it back. I had a Forever door for 38 years, I don't think this will last 5.

I had a trusted contractor install my storm door. Absolutely Beautiful. Such a difference to the front appearance to our home. Only minor tweaks needed for insulating at old door frame which had nothing to do with the install. Far surpasses our older storm door unit.

There was a screw missing from the edge of the bottom which caused the metal of the door to buckle when it was unpacked and pulled out. We sort of straightened it out. It's a manufacturer error (as usual). Otherwise the door looks good and operates well.

The door looks great, closed smoothly and has a built in roll up screen. The screen makes cleaning the glass much easier.

This will only be a review on the installation and quality of the door itself but the long term reliability. The door was simple enough to install if you have the correct tools and a good working knowledge of carpentry. A helper is helpful but not needed. The door seems to be made from quality materials and should hold up for many years It took me approximately 2 hrs to install

this is a nice solid well made door and is made by Anderson. I wanted a full view door with drop down glass but this size they don't make in this color. The one i have on front entrance was prehung and was the easiest door i ever installed. This Door is universal it can be installed for right or left opening. That where you have the work building the frame and drilling a bit of holes, i just followed the easy directions step by step and was fine the door fits better than the old door i had up which i won't say where i purchased. the hardware pack does come with a 1/8 drill bit but you will need a 1/2 inch and 3/4 bits for latch assembly. Also make sure your measurements of frame where the door will go are close don't have to perfect. the door is great and i would buy it again.
