We sincerely apologize if we did not meet the quality standards you expected. Industry standards permit either natural or manufacturing grading deficiencies not to exceed 5%, and any planks deemed unacceptable would be set aside.  Solid hardwood flooring makes it impossible to guarantee perfectly straight pieces, as natural curvature characteristics are inherent to the product and are not considered defects.

Our Laurel collection is part of Bruce’s Natural Grade category which features a greater amount of visual character, such as wider color and grain variation, mineral streaks, knots and small holes as well as minor milling imperfections however if you feel the issues are beyond the expectations of the flooring product, you can have a claim filed. The claim process is initiated by the Home Depot. You can take your proof of purchase back to them, and they can file the claim on your behalf. Therefore, when installing using the glue down installation system, plan for a higher waste factor (10%-15%).
