Good product - made of sturdy plastic though and not metal. We have installed several canopies from this company though and have generally had a very good experience. Would recommend.

It is plastic, not aluminum
The product page describes the frame as "aluminum", while in reality it is all plastic except two small beams. Can't believe it cost $175. Does not look nice on my beige wall as well. Returning to the store.

Very Poor Quality. 100% Cheap Plastic.
1) Item was advertised as being diffused. It was clear.
2) After pulling this out of the box I realized how cheaply made this product is. If you want something that will stand the test of time and hold up against all weather conditions, this isn't it. If you want something that looks high quality, this isn't it.
The frame is made of plastic.
The cover part is the thinest plastic I've ever seen.
The first season of hail, heavy wind, or heavy snow will destroy this. Sun will dry-rot it.

Great Look!
We had this awning installed over our (converted garage) bonus room side door and it looks fabulous. It seems to be sturdy and I think our guests will love this extra touch. We will update with a pic later. Thanks.

The only issue I have with this product is the...
The only issue I have with this product is the instructions. Flipping through the varying languages before getting to the English language.. Otherwise.. it was really easy, simple instructions. And is as advertised. Noteworthy thoughts, if you live in an area with spiders, they will get into the corrugated sections of plastic.
