Thank you for taking the time to provide a review on your Cafe Appliances dishwasher. It is normal for many dishwashers to run for up to two hours or more under certain conditions. In recent years, there have been changes to federal water and energy efficiency guidelines which means dishwashers use less water and less energy to run. In fact, many dishwashers are Energy Star rated (like yours), so they surpass standard energy usage guidelines. Dishwashers now run longer to ensure good wash performance but they use less energy while running. Also, by using less water, your water heater does not need to provide as much hot water and therefore is not using energy to heat more water. Your dishwasher has dual-convection ultra dry. We recommend selecting this option to ensure your dishes come out thoroughly dry once the cycle is complete. Some water remaining in the bottom of the dishwasher after the completion of a dry cycle is normal, (usually 1-2 cups). This water helps to keep the pump seal lubricated. Water should not be as high as the front of the center raised island in the bottom of the tub. Hello - Thank you for taking out some time to connect and share your review. We're more than happy to help provide some tips that can help out with cleaning. To optimally clean the stainless steel door, we recommend using cleaners with oxalic acid. Our favorite being (Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser). This will effectively remove those blemishes and marks. Also, for using the (Express Wash) you want to press the option on the control panel, then select the level of drying you want. This cycle is designed to wash loosely soiled dishes in about an hour, then the added drying time. It comes in handy when needing to clean in a hurry.
