Just had my Cafe dishwasher installed today. It’s beautiful and so, so, so much nicer than my previous dishwasher. Looks amd feels sturdy and high end.

I wish there was a cycle in between 20 minutes and 2 hours

Soap frequently still in the dispenser at the conclusion of the wash. Noisy. The bottom tray comes off the rails almost every time it is opened.

We owned another brand higher end brand for a decade and just switched to Cafe. We love the third shelf, and we love that there are energy saving settings - such as only washing the top or bottom levels. I run the washer more frequently and have a more organized kitchen as a result.

Having the dishwasher installed today. Received a book on installation but did not receive any paperwork on operating instructions. Would highly recommend a book on operating instructions and if I wanted to include WFI operations.

I love my new dishwasher. It's quiet and to my surprise it dries the dishes really well (not even puddles on the bottom of the coffee cups). I honestly did not expect this. I know from experience that the high efficiency dishwashers don't seem to dry very well. Everyone I know that has one says they open their dishwasher up after it runs to let everything air dry. Well, great, but you shouldn't have to do that unless you want to. I also love the 3rd rack for small utensils, lids, etc. I went with the Cafe line because I loved the design aesthetic and they had decent reviews. This dishwasher is beautiful. I hope it stands the test of time. It replaced a 16 year old unit (not GE) that worked fine but sounded like a locomotive. If I had one criticism it would be the cycle time - it takes forever. But I think that is the norm for units these days. I'm happy.

It does a great job, but there is a bit of learning curve in loading it so that dishes get clean and sparkling. For example, tall wine glasses require the upper rack to be in lowest position, but that means the plates on the bottom rack need to be angled so as not to interfere with the water arm.

I am not a fan of this dishwasher, One thing I hate to do is to wash dishes and after using this diswasher and still having dirty dishes is frustrating, we have had this dishwasher a little over a year and so disappointed. The very top rack does not clean the silverware either. The was cycle takes forever!!! Keep looking do more research before buying your appliances because for the money you spend I would expect better outcomes.

I love how quiet the dishwasher is. The only downfall is that it feels smaller than our previous dishwasher and having to wash more frequently

Great at first, but not 100% clean ever. Now after 2 yrs plus using, I have to precast almost everything.

The dishwasher is the quietest one we have ever had, and we love the top rack for large utensils. Cleans and dries ver well. We are happy with our purchase.

This dishwasher is very sturdy and has some really nice features. I appreciate the stainless steel interior, third level upper tray to wash utensils, and the bottle jets. The negative is that no matter what dry cycle we select, the dishes on the upper two racks never come out entirely dry.

Love the look of this dishwasher. Very well made. Very quiet. Does a great job of washing the dishes.

We only buy Cafe appliances. They're the best Dishwashers on the market!

I haven't had it long enough to give it a thorough evaluation, but so far I've noticed several things about my new CAFE dishwasher versus my former 20-year old PROFILE dishwasher. The CAFE is extremely quiet and seems to use considerably less water than the old PROFILE. As far as the cleanliness of the dishes, no complaints about either machine's performance. Hopefully my new CAFE dishwasher will last as long as my old PROFILE model did.

Poor craftsmanship, the plastic parts warp and disconnect within months of ownership. We have to tighten the upper flow tube about every 3 runs or the top rack does not get clean then you have to run it again. It takes 4.5 hours to cycle which is ridiculous it should not take any longer than 1 hour. Also you really have to pre-rinse or your dishes are not getting clean. The efficiency regulation don't account for pre-rinse

We love the look of it, unfortunately the spring that keeps that door from just falling open broke after a week of use. That kind of quality should not happen from Cafe. To add to it, scheduling service is less easy than we thought it was. We purposefully bought GE appliances because of their reputation with service repairs. Turns out that isn't quite true where we live. We keep getting a product out of warranty error. The dishwasher was just purchased at the end of last year and installed a couple weeks ago.

Very attractive and works well. Looks great in our new kitchen. Would like s hhorter wash cycle.

The dishwasher is a great quality and price point.

The best feature of this dishwasher is that you can fold in the racks so that you can fit dishes and pots of different sizes and shapes. In addition, it has the bottle jet feature that ensures that your water bottles and any other kind of bottles will be cleaned!

The dishwasher works well, but the closing latch doesn’t work. The dishwasher will not work when the dishwasher isn’t latches. It is a huge issue. I had a technician come to the house and they said this was an issue with this type of dishwasher.

Overall, Cafe dishwasher is second to none, while operating both quietly and smoothly. Controls are legible and operate with ease.

My wife had another brand in mind, and I am happy I chose GECafe because she really loves it and you know what they say happy wife happy life so much efficient this dish washer is that we both love it

We bought two of these dishwashers for our new build. One had the pump quit at 36 months; the second had the pump fail at 38 months. For the sake of your own sanity, don’t buy the cafe’ brand. We had much better success with the G.E. Profile. We have own G.E. Profile since 1992 and have never had a problem. This is our first and last foray into the Cafe’ line. Other small parts have broken on the Cafe’ dishwashers, but that was nothing compared to a pump failure and a flooded kitchen floor!

Clean, quiet and efficient! The setup was easy, very happy with this dishwasher.

This product looks nice, however do not expect it to last. We have had this dishwasher for 4 years and had to replace it after apparently the tub cracked. Poor manufacturing. Unfortunately seems to be a trend with the cafe line as we had issues with our ice flap on the refrigerator as well. Would recommended buying anything else. Also their warranty is “limited” and only good for a year.

This is a terrible dishwasher. The worst dishwasher I have ever had, and I would never purchase it again. It does not clean well, we often have to clean things several times or hand wash after the cycle. The tines broke immediately on the first use never stay up - once a plate is placed on the rack, they always fall down and everything falls along with it. The are all bent out of shape and it hold much less dishes than any other dishwasher I have ever had. The silverware trays never stay together and are very complicated to remove. It is the worst dishwasher I have ever had and I would never recommend this to anyone. Even though it was very expensive and brand new, we would love to replace it with a different machine.

The dishwasher is very quiet and it washes well. Cycles take a lot longer than my previous 20yr dishwasher, but we run it at night, so no big deal. Seems to dry plastics well when using rinse aid. Would be nice to have it connect to app for alerts when done.

Great dishwasher! Washes well. Only concern is needing to be careful putting swine stems in and out of top rack.
