Good hot water is essential to proper wash and dry performance. We recommend checking to be sure the dishwasher is connected to the hot water supply in your home and make sure the water coming into the dishwasher is a minimum of 120°F. Hi - Thank you for sharing your insights into your new Café dishwasher. While we are delighted you find the dishwasher attractive, we are sorry you are disappointed with the length of the wash and dry cycles and the dry performance. In order to meet U.S. Department of Energy guidelines, the EPA Energy Star program, and consumer demand, dishwashers today use far less water than models of the past. By lessening the amount of water used, the dishwasher is far more energy efficient. The trade-off for using less water, is longer wash cycles to ensure the dish load is clean. There are some things you can do that may aid in the dry performance. Make sure the water coming into the dishwasher is a minimum of 120° F. and select the Hi-Temp Wash option as this will aid in the evaporation of the water from your dishes. If you continue to have issues with the dry performance, we recommend having an authorized GE Appliances service technician check your dishwasher. You may call 1-800-432-2737 should you need to do so. You have purchased a great model dishwasher and we do want you to be happy with your decision to buy Café for your home. If your unit is beeping without any input from you, this normally means that a cycle was paused but not cancelled. Try pressing and holding the START button for 3 seconds to cancel any paused cycles to see if this helps. Also, if your control panel is not responding to your inputs, this would not be normal and service may be needed. Hi there, and thanks for communicating this concern to us. We truly regret that you’re having an issue with the dishwasher leaking from the bottom of the door. We know a leak would be worrying, especially with a new model. We’d like to assist. When a new dishwasher leaks, you may want to check to make sure the edge of the control panel isn’t hitting the cabinet the dishwasher is installed by. If it is making contact, the door may be able to latch but be prevented from forming a tight seal. You also may want to check the door gasket to ensure it’s properly seated and there are no gaps. Though, we are sorry that you're facing issues leveling the unit and that you're not satisfied with the assembly and design of the dishwasher. This would be disappointing and we understand your discontentment. It's true that the dishwasher must be level for proper dish rack operation, wash performance, and door operation. The dishwasher must be leveled left to right and front to back.
