Center boxes went together quickly. Had to hand cut the rods to fit between wall and center boxes. Bought an additional rod and put upper and lower on both sides. Project took approx. 1 1/2 hours to assemble. Going to buy 2 more and do the other bedrooms. So worth the money.

This product exceeded my expectations. I needed help to install because this product can be very high in the closet and I’m only 5’3. Took us maybe an hour to complete and I love it. Extremely sturdy too

We love this system and have used it in numerous closets. My only complaint is that both sides of the shelves are not white. It would be worth paying a few extra dollars to have the entire shelf coated white, but that is my only complaint. They still look good and are great for having an orderly closet.

I am a 66 year old grandmother. My grandaughter (17) helped me install this unit in a walk-in closet. It took about 2 1/2 hours to get it done. I love it and will buy more pieces to complete my closet.

Fits the description perfectly and is exactly what I needed. the drawers and shelves fit into the base perfectly. This is a space saver and looks like a professional did my closet. you will need two people to hold the pieces in place or hold a flashlight, etc. It would be very difficult for one person (in my opinion). Overall took about 2.5 hours to put this base together. then we added drawers, which fit nicely. If I wasn't using drawers, i would mention there aren't a lot of shelves included so you'd have to add more and I didn't see that as an option to purchase separately. Just a heads up!

Purchased this along with the 25in for my master walk-in closet. Easy to follow instructions and used 3 shelves to finish off the look (sold separate).

Purchased this closet system for my room. The instructions were a bit intricate but the assembly process was pretty simple and the end result was nice. Overall very satisfied with this purchase for the price point that was paid. I would recommend this product for someone who wants a quick and cheap organizing solution to a an existing closet or has a space in their home that they would like to utilize as a closet (as in my case). If you are trying to achieve the look of a professional built in walk in closet then spend the extra money and buy something more sturdy. Hope this helps.

I have a large closet. I put two together and created the organized space I needed. I love that my closet is now neat and my clothes are easier to access.

my house is an old ranch and closets are small. After installed them I got more room for clothes and look like new built house.

Installation went according to plan. I modified the layout to suit my client's needs. Plan your layout modifications before fully assembling. If your room has a low ceiling you will need about 1-inch clearance above the unit in order to stack the upper onto the lower half of the cabinet (dowels connect them). I omitted the feet due to clearance. THERE ARE NO SPARE FASTENERS INCLUDED OF ANY TYPE. Be careful not to lose anything during assembly. Plan the layout carefully regarding shelves and drawers, and where to put the brackets to secure the unit to the wall. I personally recommend using a piece of lumber vertically to support the closet rods from the floor rather than depend on screw anchors to tie them to wall paneling (drywall, etc).

I have very rudimentary and I mean very rudimentary carpentry skills but I was able to put this together by myself with an electric screwdriver and a level. This closet only had two rows of wire shelving and one day, it all came crashing down. I'm a lady in her 50's and was feeling overwhelmed about whether I could do this or not. I took my time, read the directions and it was not difficult at all. I even modified it to adjust to my small double closet by using one main rod in the middle. Thanks ClosetMaid for a fab closet makeover on a budget!

The biggest issue I have is how deceptive the packaging and instructions are. You need a minimum of 5.75 feet for this to fit in your space. NOT the advertised 4ft space. The only way you could fit it in a smaller space is by cutting the metal hanger rods which isn't mentioned until the very end. I was infuriated. What is additionally laughable is it says the only tool you'll need is a screwdriver when in fact you need a hammer, rubber hammer, drill, level, and hacksaw (for spaces under 5.75 feet) to really install this properly. Luckily I have all these tools but I couldn't imagine trying to install this only to find out you need more tools and space than advertised on the box. The only reason why I am not giving it a one star rating is because the quality is decent and I know it was a good investment, but the deceptive advertising is extremely disappointing.

Very unstable... not sure how they are using this product as advertised? I used this on against a wall next to another cabinet and under one that layed over the top of both, which is how I stabilized it. AND I DIDNT PAY full price.

It doesn’t look like it, but it took some time to put this together, but the instructions were pretty straightforward. Looks good when completed.I wish it came with a top shelf like it shows on the box though,but you have to buy that separately, which I have.

It was easy to assemble. It's great for a small closet. Love our closet.

I was able to put the unit together by myself in about an hour. All material was provided! It took me a little longer because I had to use a metal hacksaw to cut the metal rods to fit my smaller closet but it worked easily and I have SO much more storage and its much better organized than before! I loved that the closet shelves are adjustable but once in place are very solid!

I purchashed two T3s, a T1 and two T6s to create storage in my appliance pantry. I was very impressed with how easy this unit went together as well as its stability. If you space though shows correctly you should have no problem. I did assemble them alone, but it would’ve been nice to have an extra set of hands when I stacked. The shelves are white all around which is to be expected, and a let down on kit T6 (I dont rec that one). I found the soft corner finish to be very nice and made the unit feel more expensive than it is. The shelves are just very easy. I would definitely recommend it.

I purchased two of these as well as a couple of other to do a pantry closet. I was incredibly disappointed when I got to this model. The other two I installed went together smoothly and I was really impressed with the material that was used, the finishes, and the stability. When I got to this box I mediately knew it was different. First off the shelves are not white all the way around. They are brown underneath. This is incredibly frustrating when you’ve just assembled an entire set that has white shelves all the way around and then you get to these and the uniformity is totally off. I ended up flipping the shelves above eye level so that they appear to be white all the way around when they are in fact not. Doing this now leaves the shelf top exposed and I’m sure will lead to problems later. Another thing is that it is not incredibly clear that the shelves are not adjustable like the others. I referred back to the picture on the box and at that point realized it did not show adjustable holes like the others but it is NOT EASILY VISIBLE. The top edges of the boards are also unfinished and the unit features hard corners where as the other units have a nice soft curve. In my opinion ClosetMaid should make it very clear this unit (T6) is different than the others. Also, it is more shallow than the other units. In addition to this unit I also purchased the T3 and two of the T1 sets to stack. I would not recommend this unit until they decide to bring it up to par with the other sets. It does the job, but in this case it is only because there was no other choice. If I had to do it over again I would’ve just bought another brand’s kit.

Easy to put together, took about 4 hours by myself. Everything matched up perfectly and all the parts were there. Makes my small closet so much better.

Need to be very careful in picking the product - product corners and edges get nicked up pretty easy. We did two walk in closets and added extra wall unit (drawers and cabinets) to get rid of bedroom dressers. I would suggest assembling all the bottom units and putting in closet to validate layout prior to mounting to walls. Assembles well and looks good - did two walk in closets for around $1600 in materials. Directions were well written and easy to follow. Need to be careful cutting top shelving over hangar bars unless your walls are very square. I would use this product again.

This is great for a nursery or young child! We had to buy the wood and hardware for the 3 extra shelves and cut them down so that took extra time (and $$)! But overall we are happy and I am glad we purchased this!

Very easy to put together. I got additional shelfs and shelf support kits to customize it. You will need to have the right tools to cut the shelfs without damaging them. It is a very affordable option to build the closet just the way you want.

This is the second time I am using this system. The design consultant was very fast with a design and very cooperative when making changes. Well worth the $5! It’s decent quality for the money. It’s a lot of assembly, but easy. I would only suggest they make the plans bit more clear on what goes where. Especially when you have a lot of different size starter sets.
