Broke after few months would not retract
Used one of the pair and it broke within few months. I am not even a professional so its not like it was used daily. Barely used a dozen times and it stopped retracting. what a mess.

Poor quality
Had this as a backup measure and it never got used, the one time I use it on 1 iob, a small half bath remodel. within the first use the plastic lock broke. unusable now. Ive had other brands for years without issue, My other tools are red and seem to never fail me. When I think of replacing something with newer better more it wont be Dewalt

Great Long Tape, Solid Value for the Money
Easy to use, light, and for my purposes plenty heavy duty. I like the flexible vs. steel tape when I have to go longer distances.
