        Great multi meter
I picked this combo set up yesterday to help me diagnose a problem I was having with the electric system in my car. Very quickly it helped me identify that I had 2 bad fuses and was able to swap them out right away .I would say that this combo kit is a great value and that the multi meter is one of the better multi meters on the market

I am very happy with these testers.
I am so glad I finally have the non-contact voltage tester that came with this set. I was able to use it to identify whether lines were dead or live after damage from hurricane IDA. It is so much easier than using a conventional tester. The outlet tester is very handy with a very clear digital display. The multimeter has the expected functions, but I don't really use it as much since I have the other 2 options. The Klein testers have a good reputation and this set is living up to that very well.

Klein 3 pc Electrical Test Kit #69355 is GREAT!
The Klein Electrical Test Kit, Model 69355, is comprised of the following items: Klein Tools Digital Multi-Meter MM320 with 2 test leads, Klein Tools Dual Range Non-Contact Voltage Tester with internal flashlight NCVT-3P, Klein Tools GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter RT250 and 6 “AAA” included alkaline batteries. This test kit incorporates the 3 basic and essential pieces of electrical test equipment that is needed to trouble shoot most electrical circuits in the home and in most commercial settings. The Digital Multi-Meter handles AC (Alternating Current) and DC (Direct Current) on 2 setting, one up to 200 volts and the other one up to 600 volts. It also handles DC current, ohms resistance, battery test for 1.5 and 9 volts, continuity circuit check, diode testing, electrical polarity indication and it also has 2 internal fuses for meter and personal safety. It has a safety rating of CAT III 600V, Class 2, Double Insulation and is ETL Intertek rated for electrical safety. It also contains a handy, Hold, feature to keep and display the current measurement on the screen while using the meter. The kit also contains a digital and LED (Light Emitting Diode) GFCI/regular outlet tester which will give you a voltage reading at the outlet and will detect and identify common wiring faults at electrical outlets. It has a GFCI test button to trip a GFCI and indicates the time it takes to trip that GFCI. And last but not least, CAT IV 1000 AC volt non-contact voltage tester that has two sensitivity ranges: 12 VAC-1000 VAC and 70 VAC-1000 VAC with a built-in flashlight. This non-contact tester is very handy in checking for the presences of live AC voltage in an electrical box by placing the tester’s tip next to individual wires to obtain a beeping signal to indicate AC voltage. It is so handy to use and without initially having the need to take wire connections apart and testing them with a meter to determine voltage. I am so happy to have and use this electrical testing kit when making any electrical repairs or when installing an electrical apparatus such as a light fixture. The Klein Tools name is something that you can trust to be excellent, durable, and safe when it comes to electrical tools and equipment! Kl

quick & easy. [HD needs to increase review limit]
voltage reading is my reason for getting this. a 2-3' extension makes perfect .. i added outlets & switches years ago & getting little shocks ,, but all is good finally with this tool . i suspect it was static carpet shocks. HD double write limit

This is a great tester with which you can test...
This is a great tester with which you can test and diagnose variety of problems such as improper wiring, faulty grounds, timing for tripping of GFCI receptables and most importantly - voltage fluctuations. This is particularly helpful when you need to diagnose and service generators, flickering lights due to deteriorating connections on your main panel and so on. For the price, it is a must have in every service van and toolbelt and a very good addition to a home's repair kit.

This premium electrical tool set is another great product from Klein Tools.
As a do-it-yourselfer and a professional I have always been happy with products from "Klein Tools". Over the years I have ordered a number of Klein Tool products all of which are still working and performing up to their listed specifications. This electrical test kit is no exception. The multi-meter, voltage tester/with built-in flashlight, and outlet tester work flawlessly. In my opinion, all three electronic testing tools are well-built and should provide many years of service if you are DIY'er or professional. However, you should follow the well-written and illustrated owner's Operating, Maintenance, Cleaning, and Storage instructions for best operating performance and service life. See attached photographs. Well done Klein Tools.

            A must have for DIYer's
The Klein Tools Premium Electrical Test Kit includes: a Manual-Ranging Digital Multi-meter (MM320) with right-angle test leads, a Dual Range Non-Contact Voltage Tester with Flashlight, a 12-Volt to 1000-Volt AC (NCVT-3P) and a GFCI Receptacle Tester with LCD (RT250). This meter has come in very handy for my husband, testing the voltage in outlets so that he knows they are getting 110 current. He used the outlet tester to make sure they were wired correctly. Both are handy meters to have on hand. He immediately used the hand-held no contact tester to run down faulty wiring in our Christmas lights!!

Covers from electrical outlets to power electronics
Great kit has everything electrical I need to troubleshoot, fix or improve around my house. Hot wire tester has 2 color scheme and voltage filter switch which can discriminate low voltage A/C sources below 70V, like 12V alarm or 24V thermostat wires. When discriminator is off A/C voltages below 70V will be indicated by green and above 70V by red color LED. Hot wire tool also has built-in flashlight as an additional measure of safety. Outlet tester also runs on 2xAAA batteries. It has backlighted LCD screen to display voltage and test status. GFCI test captures time it takes to shutoff power when ground fault is detected. Basically this time shows for how long someone will be under electric shock. There are also 2 status LEDs. Multimeter is a crownpiece of this kit. It has real Amperemeter connection, not inductive coil hook that only measures high currents. I have inductive voltage/amperemeter as well but rarely use it and only on high loads where I can get enough precision. Multimeter piece also has only one button - "Hold". This is great, ergonomic feature. Another tool I own has annoying AC/DC button which needs to pressed every time you need to measure DC. Resistance on that tool is also switch by another button between audio and LED mode. With my old tool you alsways need to turn dial and remember to press the button as opposed just turn dial and measure using this new tool. Dial has a lot of selections. Tool can measure voltage and current, both AC or DC, resistance and diode threshold voltage. It can also measure battery voltage under load for 1.5V and 9V batteries. But again everything fits into single dial operation. I also have a standalone LC meter to measure capacitance and inductance so those features are not really important to me. Frequency/duty cycle test in advanced models is meaningless to me as you need to see wave function as well and for that I have oscilloscope. So I'm glad that I didn't overpay for features I don't need. All 3 tools are made from durable, rigid materials and can be dropped to concrete floor with no or almost no consequences. Probe terminals are 90 degrees so wires will last longer without broken insulation near terminal. Probes have removable insulation boots to work with high voltages or tiny electronic PCBs. I saw 2 ceramic fuses when I opened battery compartment, so you don't have to fully disassemble this tool to replace them if you ever attempt to measure current above its rating. Multimeter also has mount for magnetic hanger strip.

Excellent electrical kit for the DIY
Klein Tools Multi-Meter, Voltage Tester and Outlet Tester Premium Electrical Tool Set Pros: Kit comes with multi-meter, circuit diagnostic tool, flashlight/live circuit detector, batteries, sturdy construction, and instructions Cons: None This is a great kit for the DIY electrical because it comes with everything anyone might need to test and diagnose house circuitry as well as electronics. With the included batteries, the kit is ready to go to work. The sturdy multi-meter can measure voltage both AC and DC, resistance 2K to 2M ohms, amperage to 10 Amps, AC voltage to 600 volts and DC voltage to 600 volts. The two included probes attach to the positive and negative terminals and the readout on the LCD screen depends on the setting of the meter. One good feature of the multi-meter is the option to “hold” the reading. The second instrument included in the kit is the house circuit diagnostic tool. Just plug the tool into an outlet and led lights indicate the status of the circuit—green means that the circuit is wired appropriately with ground, hot, and neutral. Red means that some of the wiring is incorrect and there will be an lcd readout indicating the nature of the fault. Works with GFCI as well. Finally, included in the kit is a combination flashlight and hot circuit indicator. The way the circuit indicator works is that when first turned on, there is a green led light. When the probe is placed near a hot circuit, such as an outlet, the green led turns red. Great for testing live circuits. This is a great kit. Highly recommended.

            Great Features!
This is a great set for a homeowner. Even if you have no idea what a multimeter is for, the other two pieces are very useful and anyone can use them. The outlet tester could not be simpler - just plug it in. Green light - all-good, red light - mis-wired. It also reads-out voltage. If you are testing a GFCI, simply press the test button, and the tester will trip the GFCI and give you a readout of the reaction time. A worn-out GFCI can trip too slowly and zap you! You also don't need to be a rocket scientist to use the voltage tester. On the high range, it can tell you which slot of an outlet is the hot one. On the low range it does a fine job of sniffing out hot wires inside walls, which is much better than finding them with a drill! You can see this in the pictures. The multimeter is fairly standard, with some nice features, like a battery tester, which is all many people will ever use it for, a diode tester, and clips on the back to hold the probes, I think. It also has user-replaceable fuses inside the battery compartment, in case you do something stupid.
