Works perfect so far, right out of the box. Only used a few times.

Most Excellent Compressor! Well made and so much quieter than the direct driven ones. Do not transport it laying down, keep upright at all times. Word of advise which is not mentioned in the manual; for break-in, after you run it for 20 min, change the oil. It says capacity is 16oz, but I had to add a little bit more to bring the oil level to the half mark on the sight glass. You won't regret the purchase!

This is the second one that I have purchased and both are working great!

Compressor arrived broken in early december. Called about it for them to sendout parts for fix. They only sent half of the fixable parts. So far I have a $500 that is broken and not safe to use. If it ia not fixed by jan 1st i will be returning this unused item

This compressor operated as expected. Not as noisy as I had anticipated, a good thing. My only comment would be to DeWalt regarding the poorly designed bleed off valve at the very bottom. It is very hard to get to (for daily moisture drainage)....I immediately went on-line and purchased a replacement with a 10 inch extension hose.

Good CFM. not real loud. Drain could be better. Overall worked for my needs.

This compressor quit running after3 hours +/-

Typical DeWalt high quality. It seems to work well and is much quieter then my 25 year old Craftsman, but I haven't done any high-demand work with it yet (like sand blasting). I did, like some of the other reviewers, immediately re-plumb the drain so it was easier to get to. I'll update the review after my upcoming sandblasting project! :-)

Great product and worked flawlessly. I concur with others regarding the poor valve at the bottom of the tank. I added a ball valve to make it easier to access and more convenient. I would have rated it 5 stars if that were different.

The compressor is very robust, easy to use, and quiet

This DeWalt compressor works well, pressurizes quickly, and serves my purposes. The controls are well located and design, with the vertical tank, takes up little space. It's single serious flaw is well-known: the tank drain at the the bottom. It is essential unusable; very "Un-DeWalt". But it is also easily corrected, with about $15 worth of plumbing parts, all available at Home Depot. The solution is easy to find on the web; but DeWalt itself should remedy the problem.

We have not operated the compressor much, as we recently purchased it, but it seems to meet our needs so far.

great quiet product

The compressor works great. The delivery process was less than a positive experience. I wish there was a way to be able to have picked this up from the store instead of dealing with a truck delivery.

I received it broken. Going to return it back to xchange for another one.

Instruction Manual clear and easy to understand. Put compressor to work right after break in period. Runs great; very pleased!

Very well constructed and solidly put together. I am completely satisfied with the purchase.

Three days after shutting the compressor off, it's still holding pressure. Pumps right up to 155 PSI with no issues and is actually very quiet.

The compressor runs quiet and gets the job done. It as delivered in timely manner also.

I have had the compressor a month now and have not had any problems. It is not noisy in my garage. Maybe around 70 decibels. It runs smooth and keeps up with all my automotive tools. It is a perfect fit for me and the automotive repair work that I do out of my garage. It seems to be well made. The compressor does not take long to charge the tank and does not constantly run. Like most compressors the drain valve is at the bottom of the tank but I do not have a problem reaching it like some other owners who seem too. Many homes have shared 15 amp circuits and on start up it will draw slightly more amps and trip the breaker. So I recommend a dedicated 20 amp circuit which I installed for my unit. It has not tripped the breaker once on the 20 amp circuit. I did a leak test and it has maintained the same tank pressure for 1 week and would probably continue to do so. I am very pleased with the quality and construction.

Performs as expected and quiet. Nice compressor. Haven't owned it long enough to evaluate longevity.

When I received my compressor the cardboard box it was shipped in was severely damaged on one side but after inspection of the compressor I found no damage. I would recommend additional interior packaging. I broke in the compressor as the instructions outlined, I found the compressor to be very quite much more so than my old direct drive compressor. It is well made and fairly easy to move around. Reaching the drain at the bottom of the compressor is a might mare. I had to get on my hands and knees just to reach under the compressor but found that there is insufficient clearance between the floor and the bottom of the unit to fit your hand under and open the drain. I had to tilt the compressor to reach under and was unable to use my fingers to open the valve. I contacted the service rep at DeWalt via e-mail, they replied very quick and were very helpful but they informed me that there was no after factory fix to this issue. Other than that I am very satisfied with the compressor and would recommend its purchase.

The compressor arrived by truck. The driver stored it where I asked him to. The package contained the compressor and two owners manuals. I followed the break-in procedure then used the machine right away. The tank filled quickly and was ready to go. This is a well constructed and well painted machine. It is perfect for a homeowner who doesn't need the larger 240 V models. I would only suggest that a shutoff valve be placed between the tank and the hose, along with the included pressure regulator. Great machine so far!

Good overall performance; draws less current than my old Sanborn 2 HP compressor, which often popped the 15amp breaker. Fairly quiet operation--for a compressor. Would have preferred semi-pneumatic tires instead of the inflatable ones, although I don't plan on moving it much. Drain valve poorly placed under the tank; very difficult to reach and open (screw-type) unless the compressor is tipped diagonally. (Should have an elbow and pipe extension.) The shipping carton really needs to be reinforced and padded better, since that's where the delicate parts are. Compressor arrived with one gauge smashed and the compressor transfer tube (air outlet pipe) was bent and leaking air. I straightened and tightened the tube and have temporarily installed a gauge from my old (donor) compressor. Hoping this compressor lasts as long as my old one (30+ years). However, the tank is certified for only ten years use; cost of replacing it unknown.

Product was very good. Shipping company was slow and not that customer friendly.

All that I expected and more from DEWALT. From the reviews that I have read prior to my purchase I have only one negative thing that I agree with, and that is the drain at the bottom of the tank is a drawback and should be addressed by the manufacturer. I did what someone else had done and elbowed it out to the edge for ease of drainage. I would think that an engineer would have had the cense to either do what I have done, or raised the tank a couple of inches to allow for the tank to be drained properly. It's a fix that the consumer shouldn't have to do if the design teem would have asked for input of the end user. Overall a good product save this short coming (pun intended). PS: NO LEAKES, AIR or OIL. Break in Procedure went as expected, slight smell of new rubber as expected, and modification to the drain with street elbow, coupling, and 6" of pipe comes very close to the ground, but way better than having to tilt the entire compressor and lean it against something at the handles while blocking the wheels so they don't roll just to open and close the drain. Which brings me to the final point of Weight and that is only an issue with the drain issue.
