I had a Honeywell device similar to this that was 3X more expensive and had the same functions as...
I had a Honeywell device similar to this that was 3X more expensive and had the same functions as the one Defiant switch. The Defiant was easy to install but had to wait a few minutes for the internal battery to charge up before the display started to work. Other than that this is an excellent device for the price. I have purchased several more to install in other rooms in the house.

Very good product. Now I don’t need to go to garage to switch on and switch off my front lights. Not to worry about forgetting switching off the lights. It’s fully automated now. Thanks for making this useful product.

Needed for external lights to come on and off at certain time daily. Works great. Easy to turn program off or on. Temporary off and on feature is a nice bonus, too.

Works good just wish the display was lit or at...
Works good just wish the display was lit or at least lit when you program it. The display is always visible but no back light so it is hard to see at night without turning on a light.

Bought one earlier this year, installed it, and it worked. Bought a second one, installed it, and the switch doesn't turn on the light at all. (LCD screen lights up; that's not the problem.)

Display dims every time i push a button. Even when not being pushing any buttons. Regular display is hard to read for anyone taller than the level of a light switch. You have to bend down and look close to see display. But it does the job. And was on sale for $10.
