Excellent Design, Gteat product
My bath does not have seperate shutoff valves. Once I sweat in the plumbing to this valve I coud shut off these valves built into this rough in fixture and turn on the water source to the rest of my home.
This allowed me to complete this project with water still available to my home.

This is a good product
Replaced my old (many years old) Delta with a new Delta product. I was not sure what the screw driver stops did for me. The instructions were not clear. Called Delta and their explanation was so, so. The instruction were not clear about the screwdriver stops and I think I had the instructions for and older unit in my box. After speaking with Delta was still not sure of how to operate or what the function of the "screwdriver stops" were.

I am glad to hear you like the product but I am sorry to hear you were not given a good explanation of the screwdriver stops. Essentially, the screw driver stops allow you to shut off the flow of water to just the valve. That way, you can service the unit without shutting off the main water supply to he home. Turning the screwdriver stops clockwise would turn the unit off, while turning them counter-clockwise allows flow to return to the valve.

Tons of dripping water from shower head
Since we purchased this and installed it (with the Dryden tub/shower faucet), it hasn't worked. We have had 2 plumbers come and try to "fix" the issue, but it won't divert the water properly, so the water from the shower head runs even when we are trying to get the tub faucet to run. It's been a real challenge to get fixed. If this is supposed to work with the faucet as listed, it should work! But this has been a really big headache for us.

If water comes out of the tub spout and the shower head at the same time, then water can't get out of the tub spout fast enough. A possible cause is if the pipe to the tub spout is outside of the 8" to 18" rule or something other than copper or galvanized pipe going to the spout was used.

Just installed it last week, and so far we love it! Was easy to install, however the plaster guard wasn't useful when installing into an existing space (couldn't get the connection arms into the 4" hole with the guard attached), which caused me to have to eyeball alignment, and I got slightly off. Not a deal breaker, but I say this for others to be aware. Anyway, it was a wonderful upgrade for us - replacing a Delta valve that was 40-50 years old.

The product is great if the proper item was in the box. Someone switched it out and the return was probably never checked. I have to open everything I guess. Very inconvenient.

The Store said it had some in stock but they were not in the area it said it was... we finally found it on the shelves above. Purchased, took it home, for the contractor to realize the stoppers were missing. I had to return. Very and wasted time.

They finally figured out to put the stops in the valve itself!!! Not a plumber, but this design is so simple and effective, making a cartridge swap simple with out destroying the wall

Water pressure
Experience overall with the valve has been good, my only issue is that the water pressure isn’t where it should be, saw some specs and it’s supposed to be 2gal/min but i don’t think i get that. Tried finding some outside help to correct the issue but nothing yet, need some help!
