Pro: Ease of installation and versatile watering schedule is a plus with this timer. Semi-Con: When installing the swivel adapter, wrap the appropriate male threads with 2-3 more rounds than called for of Teflon tape to prevent a water leak. It’s not a big deal; just do it.

Easy to install and program

Flooded my whole backyard twice. I bought a different one so I will be returning this one tomorrow.

Self contained. Easy to set up.

This is the perfect irrigation timer for your lawn or any vegetation. I use it for my lawn sprinklers, soaker hose and drip system irrigation. It's full proof by keeping perfect time and operation. I've had one for years and bought a second one for my daughter and her irrigation system. Easy to install and set up. I would recommend to any home owner for their irrigation needs.

Works well. Can be programed for multiple times a day.. Nice feature. Says battery's could last 2-3 years . Easy to program..

The box was missing the pipe to hose adaptors. Returned product.

In off position it keeps on dripping slowly.I believe it leaks

Too confusing to operate!

As a hose add on device this model leaks from the internal valve due to the angle perhaps. It doesn't leak when installed between PVC as with a sprinkler system in ground. Cannot account for the reason a faucet connection would create internal leakage. Doesn't leak when active, only when in OFF setting. Will tighten the housing where the leak originates. Neither the top end (faucet side) nor the bottom end (hose side) leak or drip. Also the connection points from each adapter do not leak and this is likely due to the addition of plumber's tape as instructed in the manual. The leak comes from the center housing of the device and stops when the faucet is turned off (naturally). So if you don't mind paying for wasted water, can consider. But, this unit isn't the best for faucet to hose applications. Perhaps better in a horizontal rather than vertical position.

Excellent customer service. The first I purchased was installed incorrectly by a contractor for a DIG timer that had gone bad after 12 years. The installer put it in backwards. After consulting with the DIG specialist, through trial and error, located that problem. The installer corrected their error. So, I actually purchased a second unit for my drip system to connect with my faucet and the lead hose. The problem with the faucet connection is the pressure on the unit when the water is always on. The unit leaks and drips constantly from the ends. I used plumbers tape as the manual instructed so the inside connections don't leak. The adapter ends that connect to the faucet and the hose are very susceptible to spraying and leaking even when opening the lid to change the drip cycle. They are the source of the dripping. Water bill went up. Solution is to turn the faucet off, but why have a timer if I have to go back each time?

It is very easy to use and functions smoothly. I wish I could set different times for different days, but it does allow you to set multiple time for the same days.

HUMMMMMMM!!! It vibrates/hums so loud I can't hear the TV and it woke me up when I ran it in the morning. I tried two of them, both were silent the first time they ran then got louder with each use, tried them on two different faucets also. Returned the second one and will look for a different timer. Also the timer is not attached to the valve, if you turn it over the timer just falls right off.

Overall Good product. I don't like once you set the programing that you have to wait until the next scheduled time to see if it goes on or not. It will not go on if the current time is within the scheduled time with initial programing. Also be very carful not to overtighten the plastic valve that holds the blue programing unit otherwise it leaks easily.

This new version of a older model that I purchased many years ago does not meet the required function. This version has many potential leaks from which sure enough it leeks. When using an irrigation timer it is necessary to leave the flow of water always on. Leaks appear at both the inlet side when the unit is in the off position. When the unit turns on, per the programming schedule, it leaks on the discharge side. I applied more teflon tape and tighten all of the connections and the leaking still persisted. One of the units eventually broke loose completely allowing a continous flow of water from the hose bib, loosing many gallons of water. That was the final straw. All units were returned and we selected a different model that so far appears to be working as it is supposed to.

Needed a timer only without the valve, to fit on an existing valve

I love these, simple to install. They take the headache out if no power to the unit! Absolutely would I purchase and recommend this product again!

Solenoid part worked as expected...used it replace a broken part on another model. Overall is a cheaper repair. Gave it a 4 star because it seemed still expensive.
