The DIG 3/4 in. Female Hose Thread x 1/2 in. Compression Swivel will connect 3/4 in. garden hose or hose thread to 1/2 in. poly tubing. Easily installed without the use of special tools or glues. Compression fitting provides a secure, water-tight fit.
  • 3/4 in. FHT x 1/2 in. (0.700 O.D.) compression fitting
  • Made of durable, UV resistant materials
  • Used as a connection method for a drip irrigation system
  • Includes 60-mesh screen to help filter impurities
  • The compression fittings use a simple wrist action; the polyethylene drip tubing or micro tubing is "walked" into the compression side of the fittings for a very tight fit

Q:Is the threaded end compatible with the Q58 fitting threads to create a coupled fittimg??

Answer This Question

A:  The threads on our Q58 end cap are ¾” male hose thread so if you were to remove the cap you could thread the C34 swivel adaptor to the Q58 end cap. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact our technical service/ product support team at 1-800-322-9146.

    A:  Be sure that there is a hose washer in the adapter to prevent leaks.

      A:  It should not be leaking unless the washer is damaged or missing. I would recommend inspecting the screen washer to make sure it is intact. If you adaptor is still leaking please contact our technical service/product support team for more troubleshooting assistance 1-800-322-9146.

          A:  The C34 is designed for use with poly drip tubing .700 OD in irrigation applications only the fitting has not been tested for corrosion resistance to any other chemicals. If you have any other questions, please contact our technical service/product support team at 1-800-322-9146.

            A:  Yes. It's plastic with a stainless steel screen mesh filter element. Have used (2) of these in my irrigation system for over a year without issues (no leaks/ separation from the irrigation lines).

                        Plastic Threads DO NOT Adapt to Hose Fitting
                        The manuf. mold might have the thread size for a garden hose, BUT if they are released too quickly before cooled they will warp during cooling. I know this because the adapter only turns twice o to the hose FOR THE LAST 5 ADAPTORS I HAVE TRIED and does not seat the washer sealing the system.

                            Junk. No quality control.
                            As others have noted, this will not thread onto a standard male hose end or hose bibb. It will stop about 1/16” short of the gasket and leak so badly it is unusable. It will not even thread to male hose fittings on products from the same manufacturer. It is the correct thread but just extremely poor q.c. I will try Rain Bird but Home Depot doesn’t stock so will have to order.
