Answer This Question

A:  The gray swivel compression adaptor is ¾” female pipe thread (FPT) model 50001, and the back swivel compression adaptor is ¾” female hose thread model C34. Q:how to remove the connector

    Answer This Question

A:  I think you would have to split the hose

    by|Apr 6, 2023

A:  It's a pressure fitting. The only way to remove it is to cut it off.

      by|Feb 8, 2024

A:  Removing poly tubing from a compression fitting is very difficult, but it can be done by just forcefully pulling the tubing out of the fitting. You want to stay away from using any tools to remove the tubing or cutting the tubing out of the fitting as any damage to the compression fitting will cause it to leak. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact our technical service/product support team directly at 1-800-322-9146 or tech@digcorp.com.

A:  Cut a pigtail long enough to insert a coupler into it when you use it again (just cut it off 4” down)

Q:Is the threaded end compatible with the Q58 fitting threads to create a coupled fittimg??

            Answer This Question

A:  The threads on our Q58 end cap are ¾” male hose thread so if you were to remove the cap you could thread the C34 swivel adaptor to the Q58 end cap. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact our technical service/ product support team at 1-800-322-9146.

              Answer This Question

A:  Be sure that there is a hose washer in the adapter to prevent leaks.

              by|Jun 14, 2023

A:  Note: there are two types! One with a gray nut and one with black.

                by|Apr 19, 2023

A:  It should not be leaking unless the washer is damaged or missing. I would recommend inspecting the screen washer to make sure it is intact. If you adaptor is still leaking please contact our technical service/product support team for more troubleshooting assistance 1-800-322-9146.

                      missing from my order
This item was missing in my order box which came crushed and looked like it had been taped back together. This is the second order in the last week that i have had issues with. One package never shopped up at all. Multiple calls to home depot for the missing package and still no resolution. Im super frustrated. I have ordered from them in the past without issues. Whats going on lately…!!!

Plastic Threads DO NOT Adapt to Hose Fitting
The manuf. mold might have the thread size for a garden hose, BUT if they are released too quickly before cooled they will warp during cooling. I know this because the adapter only turns twice o to the hose FOR THE LAST 5 ADAPTORS I HAVE TRIED and does not seat the washer sealing the system.
