I'm sorry that the shroud didn't connect very well with your Makita Grinder. Its possible it just isn't the most compatible with that brand

I'm sorry you had issues with our Dust Shroud Pro. We are currently working on updates to this shroud. Could you please provide us with which model M18 grinder you are using to sales@dustlesstools.com. There also should have been some spacer to achieve proper depth. If they were not in the pack let us know.
