They did and they didn't. These are made for the perfect application. With what I had was in order to make my balusters center I had to cut off both ends which made the top part to the 1/2 inch size to small and made the 5/8th size work perfect on top. Bottom side the 5/8th that I need for the top is way to big to fit inside the baluster so I had to buy 1/2 so I had to buy 2 packs per 5 balusters.

When tightening the baluster just enough to keep it from wobbling without over tightening it they push up on the handrail which bows railing.

This product is excellent for the DIY person. Time saving and takes all the guesswork out to achieve a professional looking job. I would highly recommend this product.

I replaced my wooden balusters with black metal balusters. After watching videos on YouTube of different ways to install them, I choose to try these tap and twist. I didn’t like the idea of gluing. This was not the cheapest option but money well spent.

The directions on how to trum the baluster need to ignored. If the railing has predrilled holes you must measure the length of the upper hole with the rubber plug inserted then measure the system works very well and makes the job easy fir a DIY’’er the angled trim caps tend to move when tightened down leaving small gaps. However with all things considered these make the job easy to do.

The process is very easy. No need for epoxy or to drill through the balusters.

Worked like a charm.

This kit made it super easy to replace the old wooden spindles on our bannister. Wish we didn’t wait so long to do it, and what a difference iron makes-very modern and classic look.

Quick and easy to install.

Makes installation of iron balusters very easy. Make sure you drill holes to the correct depth. I did 130 on our stair case and it took about 8 hours. 2/3rds of the time was cutting the balusters and 1/3 using the Tap and Twist system.

The stair parts tap and twist worked really well for my purposes.
