A: This product is a 88 bolt. a 25mm length
A: Hi Alice, based on your measurements it does sound like there will be gap that you'd need filled in so it may not achieve the look you're going for. Good luck with your project, and let us know if we can help in any way.
A: These shoes fit great and they are easy to adjust. You can also use a shims to adjust levels.
A: There may be some gap between the iron baluster and the handrail or the shoe rail. If the baluster is too long or too short, you will not be able to install it. If the gap is reasonable (less than 1/4 inch), you can use this product to secure the baluster. This product is not very durable. I also used this product and Gorilla construction adhesive. In this way, none of the balusters become loosening.
A: Builtafew - thank you for your review.
A: The reason it is 3/4 is to support the nut and bolt that keeps tension. You just need a 3/4 countersink bit. That will be help you keep the drill in the center of the hole and get the right diameter. It is a little bit of work, but the final result is great.
A: Hello! We're sorry to learn that you're having difficulties with our Tap-N-Twist kit. The sole purpose of the top cap is to provide a tight fit in a hole drilled in handrail that was originally drilled for a wood baluster. Since those hole sizes can vary depending on where the wood baluster was cut, the rubber cap at the top may, in some cases, not be necessary. If you have additional questions, post them here and we'll reply as quickly as possible.
