instant hot water!
This mini water heater works great. Installed it under our kitchen sink as a booster since our main water hester is on the opposite side of the house. It used to take about 15 minutes for the hot water reach the kitchen faucet but now it is instantly hot. So nice.

Don't Hesitate --- get one
Using in my RV to replace old gas-electric unit. Had to modify location. But worth the effort.

Very compact design; was easy to fit under my bathroom...
Very compact design; was easy to fit under my bathroom sink with room for the other things I store there. It was easy to install with a wrench and plumbers tape. The only change I would make is that the instructions tell you to install an overflow pipe/hose - it would have been easy to include this with the heater so people don't have to make a separate trip to the hardware store.

I installed this under my kitchen sink for instant hot water uses for rinsing dishes and baby bottles. Works great but check the height before install.

Hot water runs out quickly
Make sure it fits your usage needs. You should have warm to hot water coming into it within 30-45 seconds from an on demand or primary hot water heater or you will run out of hot water quickly. The tank size is too small for more than a single quick hand wash.

Good price, decent performance
Installed under kitchen sink. Disappointed the 1/2" water fittings do not accept the standard 1/2" FIP supply lines. I had to go back to the store to get FIP to MIP PVC adapters. Not a big concern since the 90-degree adapters I used routed the supply lines better.
Delivers almost instant hot water, but turns luke-warm for a few seconds, then hot again.
Would buy again.

Great little unit.
Small size makes it easy to fit under a bathroom sink. Plenty of water to wash hands and face. We are very happy with this unit.

Does a great job but needs a small upgrade
Compact, easy to use. Two things i could recommend for future engineering changes. 1. There is no check valve from the hot side to the faucet which makes that some of water seems to be returning to the tank leaving air in the hose. When you open it spits out air. 2. The blow off safety valve is copper and gets hot. There is no insulation around that part which seems to be an efficiency loss.

died after a year
compact on demand hot water heater that worked great for a kitchen sink far from our primary hot water heater. developed a big leak damaging cabinetry shortly after a year. 2 year warranty claim rejected due to 'hard water' despite use of a water softener. will not buy this brand again.

I installed my 6 gallon eco smart water heater in...
I installed my 6 gallon eco smart water heater in my party shack and it work wonderfully. No when we cook outside on the grill we can wash the plates the raw meat touched and don’t have to leave the party to do so then we just take the cooked meat off grill and place back onto a clean plate thanks to our hot water heater

Easy install works great!
Kitchen sink used 4 gallons water before beginning to warm. Install took about 1/2 hour once I figured out connecting hardware. As one reviewer pointed out, instructions are basically non existent. Used 1/2” pipe to 3/8 compression fittings(2) braided hose: had to add 3/8”-3/8” threaded coupler to sink compression fitting. Couple wraps of Teflon tape, good to go. No leaks, 1/2 hour later, hot water. Now takes 2-3 seconds for hot water in sink. Best instructions are diagrams on outside of box.

I just installed it and it works fine. The directions for installation were VERY limited. I'm glad I had some previous knowledge, but still had to get some advice from the plumbing department at home depot.

works like a champ
I like this heater beacuse of simple staight forward design (no crazy electronics). I bought and installed two of these units: one for kitchen and one for guests bathroom. So far so good.
