Great dimmable led bulbs
Cool dimmable led bulbs. The light color is just like an incandescent 65w bulb.

    Excellent LED Price/Product
Ordered these for can lights in kitchen and highly impressed by both the light output and efficiency value for the output. Also like the dimming ability. Seems a quality product, price is right and warranty gives peace of mind. Expectantly waiting for additional LED products with the same cost value to emerge.

    Amazing BR30 Bulb
It uses 9W and is brighter (to my eyes) than a 40W Philips Halogena (65w equivalent) or the GE and NuVision (predecessor to EcoSmart, I think) 15 W (65W equiv. ) CFL BR30s. It works great with my dimmer switch, with no buzzing or flickering. I've only had them for a month so I can't comment on longevity, but for $16.00 it's an amazingly bright, cool running and efficient bulb. And it looks great, too - no complaints from my wife - she doesn't like the look of the Philips BR30 LED bulb.

    Great LED choice
I am very pleased with this LED! I tried out 3 or 4 different bulbs before settling on this one. It appears to be right on 2700k when compared to my other incandescents. It is a little brighter than my existing 65w bulbs, but not too bad. It doesn't seem to run hot. It puts out a good wide beam of light versus a narrow spot beam. It is absolutely instant on. With other LEDs I can detect a slight pause after you flip the switch, but this bulb seems to be instant on. The only downside to this bulb that I can find is that it doesn't dim down as low as the incandescents. Also, when dimmed it maintains its color whereas incandescents change color to more red. Those are minor differences and for me not much of a factor. Great price on this bulb as well. I wish Home Depot would carry these in the stores in my area, but they are only available on-line for me.

      Another Winner from Cree
5-Stars for the Cree BR30 2700K replacement. We previously have purchased both the 4" and 6" LED downlights that consist of a the LED in an integrated Recessed Fixture Trim. Those were new installs but these were for existing recessed fixtures that use a BR30 size bulb. These are bright and have a color temperture similar to incandescent bulbs. 5-stars also to the Home Depot salesman who tried to locate the 19 shown by the Store Inventory Program. We wanted 5. He was able to locate 3 up on the highest shelf. 0-stars to the Home Depot Store Inventory system that showed 19 but only had 3. It's a bit of a drive for us so we try to make sure before traveling so we don't waste time and gasoline.

      Couldn't Be Better
I recently bought a house with lots of 6" downlights. I tried a CFL replacement, but they are so slow to come to full brightness as to be unusable. I just installed two of these bulbs, and they couldn't be better. They are at least as warm and bright as an incandescent, and they look more attractive because they don't have the hot spot that incandescents have. Highly recommended (pending experience with actually lifetime)

good lights - interfere with garage door remotes
These lights work well, light is natural, efficient. The only problem is they interfere with our garage door opener remotes. I will try to create a shield when I have some spare time, but it is quite annoying.

        R30 LED bulb
This is the best I have found to date. These LED's have slightly less light output (lumens) than a 65 watt R30 incandecent bulb. The color is good, but turns a little gray at the lowest dimmer setintings.

        Outstanding LED light
I replaced the four regular flood lights in my kitchen with these LEDs and could not be happier. They are a direct fit in to a normal size can light, they use a very small amount of power and run cool as well. The light is extremely close in color to a normal incandescent bulb (which is to say, not harsh) but it just looks cleaner, if that makes any sense. The light is clear, bright and not at all clinical. It doesn't hurt that all 4 LEDs combined use less energy that just one of the previous bulbs.Very pleased, will be buying more.

          Good choice
I'm replacing the bulbs in the 8 can lights in our kitchen as the incandescent bulbs burn out. The more expensive LED bulbs that I was using are no longer being carried so I decided to give this one a try. I am very happy with it. The instant on is great and it is much cheaper too. I am replacing 65W bulbs but the LEDs are brighter. When all of the bulbs are LED I may have to consider a dimmer or wear sunglasses around the house. :-)

          Great replacement
After replacing my BR-40s (60w) with these BR-30 9w bulbs, i actually have more light than before, and the color spectrum is great, too. Extremely natural light.

Very bright for 9w, still can't match the Ecosmart using Cree technology
I had the 14w (75w equiv) version of this bulb and felt it was a little too bright since my other bulbs were 65w. I tried this one and am pleased with it. I can't tell much of a difference between the two but at least I'm saving 5w. The main reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is that it won't dim as low as incandescent bulbs or the truly fantastic Ecosmart that uses Cree technology. Those are the best bulbs I can find but it isn't always practical to uninstall the entire can light housing. I'll use these bulbs for difficult to install locations but highly recommend using the Ecosmart Cree ones for most home can-lights.
