Poor quality control
5 sinks and could not get one that was acceptable. Only one was due to shipping damage. Three of them had flaws on the front edge. It is like they tried to fix a defect by hand with a sander leaving an uneven bottom edge and a bump on the front edge that catches your eye. There are also very slight deflections in the top surface in various places. I guess this is a result of attaching the rail on the bottom that the brackets slide into.

Pitts and rust on day 1.
This cannot be stainless steel it stains and rust on all parts of the sink. This sink is a maintenance nitemare to keep clean. You will be investing in chemical and cleaners just to keep the rust away from this sink. A sponge and dish washing liquid will not keep it clean. I returned it because it is not as advertised.

Stainless steel is an alloy that contains a minimum of 10.5% chromium. Chromium reacts with the oxygen in the air to form a protective layer on the product to resist corrosion and rust. Sometimes this can just be surface rust from high iron in the water. We also recommend not leaving items in the bottom of the sink, as they can also be a cause of rust. Silverware, for example, can start to rust on the surface of the sink and leave a stain that gives the appearance that the sink is rusting. Love this sink!!
I searched a few different stores trying find an 18-gauge sink that met my specifications. At first I was a little hesitant about the low divider between the sinks, but after a few months I realize that I love it. It allows me to still have 2 separate sinks, but I can set pans with handles in either side and the pan sits flat. It is a very deep sink so I can easily soak or fill large items. Plus, since you can't see the divider unless you are standing directly in front of it, the sink looks huge. The sound dampening coating stops any echo when the water is running. I like that it included the grids for the bottom. Most of the other sinks I looked at, you had to buy them separately. This is a great quality sink at a very reasonable price. Other comparable sinks were about $200 more. Even my plumber was impressed and surprised by the price. I would recommend it to anyone.

Low Divide is a Real Special Feature
Elkay Avenue 18-Gauge Stainless Steel 33 inch Sink is just what I needed. Heavy Gauge Stainless with a Low Divide between the Bowls and Sound deadening Pads on the bottom of both Bowls. Center Drains on both bowls. The Low divide in the center makes it easier to wash big items like sheet pans. The Bottom Grids are supplied and help with noise and protect the bottoms. Great Sink.

My sink is rusting!
This is supposed to be a stainless steel sink. Stainless steel doesn’t rust! My sink is definitely rusting!
I love the sink as far as the style goes, but I’m not happy that it is rusting and it’s only been installed less than four months.
DO NOT BUY!!!!!

Disappointed
Have had this sink for 4 months and it scratches easily and has lost its shine. No abrasives were used on it. Most likely will be replacing within a year

Perfect Upgrade
Exactly what we needed when upgrading our kitchen. Currently waiting on our countertops to install but we can already tell that this 18-Gauge sink by Eklay will be perfect. We will opt to use this as an undermount sink, it’s pretty nice that it can be used to either application. The sound dampening areas are a major plus, IMO, it’s a simple way to make all sinks feel more premium. The only con, I wish this sink had the air gap built in for our dishwasher, that is one thing we will have to cut the hold ourselves. We had this shipped to our home and had zero issues.

Roomy 18 ga. Stainless Steel Sink is Good Value for the Money
As I was unpacking this Elkay sink, I was immediately impressed by the sturdiness and modern look of this sink. The 9" deep double bowls have are very roomy with straight sides and flat bottoms and have a 4 11/16" low divide to accomadate larger pots and pans. The type 304 Stainless Steel is 18 gauge and is corrosion and heat resistant. It also has full sound deadening spray on the sides and bottom with side and bottom sound deadening pads. The finish is not scratch resistant but is designed so that scratches will eventually blend into the uniform finish pattern. Two Stainless Steel sink grids with rubber feet and bumpers are included to help avoid scratches. This is a dual mount sink and has a Limited Lifetime Warranty. A really nice sink that is good value for the money.

Great quality, undecided on design
The quality of this sink is very good. As a general contractor, one of the first things I noted was the nice template included for cut out of the counter for installation. The gauge of steel used is heavier than most sinks which, in addition to the nice sound dampening pads and spray-applied treatment on the underside, this should be much quieter than many comparable models. This model does have a low middle divider which I am not sure quite how I feel about it yet. Given the reality that I rarely fill the sink bowl past a couple of inches, having the extra clearance for pot/pan handles may be nice, but haven't been able to use it yet to make that final decision.

high end sink
This stainless-steel sink is by far the top of the line compared to others I have had. It fits well and was easy to install. It came with the install clips. It even came with the sink bottom grids to protect the sink from scratches. (Which have rubber feet.) The divider between the sinks has a low profile which I love because I tend to drop things if I have to pick them up to high. A small thing but it is appreciated. The stainless steel is 18 gauge and is nice and thick and sturdy. Just a wonderful product.

Nice sink
This sink is beautiful, I wanted to switch to a large single basin but my husband did not. It still looks like a single & fits larger dishes. Only issue is if you keep your garbage under the sink it won’t fit anymore & it doesn’t come with drains.

DO NOT BUY!!!! I bought this sink due to the good reviews and modern look, but it was a big mistake. Not even one week after having it installed there was rust spots on the sink. The material also easily stains. If you leave plates in the sink overnight expect to get ring stains that won't come off. Our other sink has been in use for over 15 years and still looked just as good as the day it was installed. I have also lived in apartments, where they install cheap quality, and even their sinks held up much better.
I now have to pay someone to remove this sink and install a new one. On top of having paid for the initial install.
Not sure why this sink has good reviews. Probably fake reviews as there is plenty of other reviewers stating the same rust and staining issue. I am disapointed that Home Depot continues to carry this horrible sink.

Thick metal, deep bowls, nice finish. Needs better packaging for shipment. Arrived with dent in front edge flange. Would not have been usable as drop in mount. We went with undermount. Overall satisfied but it’s always frustrating to receive damaged item, which should be foreseeable and actions taken to prevent.

Disappointed
I was really looking forward to replacing my old sink with this big single bowl, but it already has rust spots and discoloration near the drain. It was installed less than two weeks ago. My old sink was about 30 years old and had no rust!
