it is not stainless
it is not stainless as it did stain. i see some marks from the iron skillet that I left inside. now I have a mark of rusted stain.

Thank you for letting us know about your experience. It is our priority to ensure customer satisfaction. This model is made of 18 gauge, 304 stainless steel. Stainless steel is an alloy that contains a minimum of 10.5% chromium. Chromium reacts with the oxygen in the air to form a protective layer on the product to resist corrosion and rust. Sometimes this can just be surface rust from high iron in the water. We also recommend not leaving items in the bottom of the sink, as they can also be a cause of rust. Silverware, for example, can start to rust on the surface of the sink and leave a stain that gives the appearance that the sink is rusting. Happy in the Kitchen
We love our sink. After buying 5 sinks and returning them all we finally decided on this one. Love the low divide and the sink racks. Installed as a drop in sink it looks sleek and modern. Hasn’t rusted yet and drains well. It will scratch if you don’t use the bottom racks.

I love our new sink. Fit perfectly where the ancient sink was. It’s sleek and super functional. Only reason we don’t give it 5 stars is because it had a dent on one of the edges which we didn’t see until after it was installed.

A modern style with a twist. Purchased this sink to...
A modern style with a twist. Purchased this sink to update the kitchen to a more modern style but keep the separate compartments for preparing meats and vegetables. My only complaint was the dent we found during installation. It was unfortunately right in the middle and has become an eyesore but overall a good product for it purpose.

Ignore reviews about rust stains
Some people don’t know how to clean. I’ve had this sink since JULY. I love it. We had a bad drain clog and I used sulfuric acid to dissolve. It bubbled up and stained the sink. I was able to get it off with ELBOW GREASE and ‘barkeepers friend’.
We have the version with one large bin, and I don’t think I can ever live with a tiny, two side sink ever again. Everything fits, including my one year old.

Love the look and functionality of this sink.
This sink is deep allowing biger pans to be washed. I love the grates at the bottom. They keep the dishes elevated for better drying.
