Works very well, very sturdy.

Hinges are folded out of the package. Unfolded to prepare to mount and heard clicks. Tried to use the Allen wrench to loosen according to package direction and the hinge bent. Frustrating from the start and question the quality if it bent so easily. Glad it failed before I got it on my gate. Should have listened to the other reviews.

The self-closing hinges and latch were easy to install and worked well on a gate I build for our deck to the stairs.

The hinge system is satisfactory but the catch system is flimsy and often does not work properly. The catch needs something more then gravity to actuate locking motion, i.e., a spring of some kind.

I finished stained my little entrance fance and start adjusting the tension on the hinges and the hinges click loudly and didn't work at all, I try to adjust the hinges again and the same things happen again. And I install 3 hinges for safety......I'm so frustrated with the cheap quality of this product

Latch instructions were not very good. If you've seen one in use, you can figure it out. The hinges are really good.

I picked up the Everbilt Black self closing gate kit to use on my chicken coop. I wanted something that would ensure that the door would shut in the event that I or a member of my family forgot to secure the door. These hinges are spring loaded and adjustable to different levels of force. It was just what I was looking for. Instructions are straight forward and located on the back of the package. I would recommend this product.

Surprised by the high quality, for the low price. I liked the tension adjustment feature. I also liked the, easy to follow instuctions, and ease of installation.

Don’t keep highest tension setting

The gate hardware and lock set fit perfectly with the gate that I made to keep our pets in.

Easy to install, and holds up the weight it specifies.

Worked well. Don’t forget to tighten the spring.

Hardware is cheap made you can wear the screws out easy if your not careful and rusts quick and the adjustments for closing tension don’t seem to work so it’s just at max tension until it breaks loose and has zero tension which I’m sure will happen sooner rather than later. Other than that it works decent and keeps the gate closed.

First time installing this item, we shall see how long it lasts
