This is a quality product. It is easy to apply and coverage matches the label. I used on an inside concrete shop floor and am immediately satisfied. My suggestion is to use a roller and not a sprayer. The solvents will eat the tubing in a sprayer. After using to cover about 600 sq ft I noticed pieces of the tubing falling on the floor. Stopped spraying and went to the lambs wool roller brush. It worked great.

In preparation for the rainy season in Tampa, Florida I did some research on the internet for a good concrete and paver sealer. After researching dozens of sealers I decided to purchase a 5 gallon can of your Armor SX5000. I used it on the pavers around my in-ground pool and I was so impressed with the results that I purchased a second 5 gallon can approximately six weeks later to use on the pavers in front of my house and sidewalk as well. I have even used it on my pool storage chest, now it looks like new again. The SX5000 was easy to work with and took less time to complete the project than I anticipated. I am now going to purchase a third 5 gallon can of SX5000 to use on my driveway.

This product works great! Love the way the rain and snow just run off the driveway.

I used to seal my brick porch and around the base of my house and so far so good.

I have a very old red brick patio. The bricks are the unsealed kind.. Through the years I tried every sealer only to have them flake/crack/peel away. Finally got around to doing the research and this name kept coming up. I called the company and talked to smart/helpful rep. I told him I wanted 1) a PENETRATING product-not something that lays on top 2) would NOT change the color of the bricks 3) would not SHINE 4) would last the longest 5) would stop deterioration. The rep said this product addresses these concerns and the SOLVENT Based would last the longest 5-7 yrs. The original application took 3 coats - you can tell you have enough when the bricks stop "drinking it". Every thing the rep said is true. Five years later I applied another coat. This time l gal. did it. Another 5 years have passed and I am doing it again. The patio still "beads" water as it did all along. However, to make it perfect about every 5 yrs you need to scrub it with soap/water hose it off and reapply. If you have the same concerns I did this is your answer.

I purchased this product in an attempt to seal a second story brick window sill which was allowing water to leak into the house and drip into the first floor. I applied two coats with a roller and the water has stopped leaking. Great product.

I repaired a small walkway at my mothers house and I did not use any sealer and after the winter it looked bad, pealing cracking. I added this to a portion of my patio and it looks good, From now on I will add this sealer to every time I repair concrete, its very rare but I don't like to redo anything. Very happy.

Hawaii has wet issues common to our area. Tried different products but failed to seal for more than 3 months. Got the recommendation of Foundation Armor from a mason friend on the mainland. His years of use and results sold me. The application was easy, followed 24 hours of no moister to let it set and one year later so far it looks like when we first applied. Wow. Nothing better.

So far it's a couple months later and it looks just as good as it did the day I applied it. Would 100% recommend. It does a great job of preventing water from soaking into the concrete. Our concrete is about 30 years old at least and worn. It looks great.

The sealer is easy to apply and is water repellent once dry, how long that will last stays to be seen. Once dry it is absolutely invisible. It's supposed to cover 100-200 square feet, on the website it even says 250 sqf, but if you have rough concrete pavers like I do then expect a coverage of about 50 square feet, maybe 60 but no more.

This was my first experience sealing concrete. The product was easy to use. I dumped small portions into a smaller container and brushed it on with a 3" brush. I would have appreciated something in the directions that told me what proper first application would look likeso I could judge if I was applying it too heavily or thinly. Also, then, what a proper second application looked like. Even applying wet on wet ( I was doing a second coat well before half on the minimum drying time had passed) the second coat did not seem to sink in and looked milky, but dried fine. I appreciated the Armor customer help line. We have been in a long heat wave and they explained to me that the 85 degree max temp was important so the product didn't evaporate before it could penetrate during application. How it works for weathering is not something I can judge, but it does repel surface water.

We have tried various products for our stamped concrete walkway, and while they look good for a while, it seems that just cleaning was just not worth the effort. We tried the Penetrating Clear Concrete and Masonry Water Repellent Sealer with Salt Guard and were very pleased; right after cleaning the surfaces, we used the SX5000, until it ran out. the difference between the treated and untreated area is amazing. I took some photos, but they don't do it justice! There is a wonderful sheen on the treated area, clean and almost like new again. I'm going to finish the job when the weather improves, but I can't imagine finding a better product for our walk. Its over ten years old now, but the sealer made it look great!

This sealer helped stop the water leakage in my house. I used it on both the walls and the steps.

Worked exactly as predicted. No color change or even a change in tone. Waterproofed and protected. Applied 1 coat and I will verify what happens over winter (? Icing). So far it's flawless.

This was well worth the cost. It has provided excellent protection for my concrete/pebble driveway and it looks great. It applied easily. I plan to use it again.

It took 10 gallons to do my 20 x 30 brabd new driveway and 40 ft of sidewalk. Water beads and runs off. Snow and ice seem to be easier to remove. Great stuff.

Used this product on my driveway, used 2 cans (10 gallons ). First can I used a paint roller, second a sprayer. I would recommend the sprayer, seems to go further. Water beads up just as advertised, driveway looks like new. Cost my be a factor for some, but you get what you pay for. Supposed to last for 10 years, we'll see. Definitely recommend this product.

Super easy to apply and works great so far. We applied the sealer to the brick on the side of our house that kept getting dirty and covered in moss... we pressure washed the brick and applied a few days later after it had dried and it continues to look freshly washed!!!!

I do not like to take my time to rate products, but this was the best investment I made to protect by stamped cement deck. I have used over the years multiple brands of sealers and they have all flaked with white sealant peeling up making the expensive cement deck look old... I stripped the deck and applied Foundation Armor. The deck is beautiful and looks great!

I ordered the 5 gal SX5000.It arrived on time. I followed the detailed instructions and applied accordingly on my 20 yr. old pressure treated driveway and from walkway. The next day it rained, and low and behold, the water beaded away on the surface! My neighbors' driveway looked wet and green, whereas mine looked dry and clean!

Product application was easily applied via a sprayer. Bought to try out and knew I wouldnt have enough for entire driveway so after first rain it was easily discernible where I stopped applying. The part that I treated easily repelled water and protected the cement from absorbing the water vs. the part that wasnt treated was dark in color and soaked up water. I will be buying more of this to finish the remaining part of my driveway!

I just purchased another 5 gallon pail I am so pleased wtih results. Kudos but remember to let concrete cool before applying.

SX5000 does produce powerful fumes so ventilation is essential, use gloves & wear proper mask. We sealed radiant heat cement basement floor using a roller. Product was easy to apply and dried quickly. No color change of the cement. Ventilated the basement and fumes were gone the next day.

I ran across this product looking for a solution to some really bad concrete that would powder when I swept it. I was skeptical, I figured that I would have to tile over the floor, or worse tear it out and replace it. This product works wonders. Smells terrible, but REALLY gets the job done!

I have sprayed the product onto my exterior brick walls about 3 days ago. Good dry conditions. Its raining today... the water is beading right up. So far, nothing but positive things to say about this sealant. I also spoke with their customer service and received excellent help and advice. Highly recommended product.

This is the best product I have ever used to seal my driveway. The key is to make sure you thoroughly clean the concrete before applying or you will have splotches. I had one area I got lazy on. The company is excellent to work with and ships product quickly and securely in a very thick box. I will use Foundation Armor again!!

Applied SX 5000 to pavers after power wash. Started with roller but switched to bottle sprayer quickly because roller was using too much product down the cracks. Sprayer worked fine and faster but product ate up the sprayer as noted in manufacturers writeup. Used a couple of cheap bottle sprayers as home center didn't carry one for solvent products. Dried fast in Florida to foot traffic while applying but stayed off 24 hours. SX 5000 soaks in quickly so so apply evenly. Paver color change minimal so your pavers look about the same after application. Use another product to restore color or want wet look. 5000 definitely slows absorption of water and beads up for a short time. I think spills on patio will have time to clean up before going right into pavers as did before. Time will tell. Wish I had the $$$ for 2 coats. Pavers sucked it up and got only about 100sf per gallon. 5000 is little smelly but not a problem for me as all work outside. Smell gone overnight. Did have a small problem and called company. Mike there was friendly, courteous and provided solution quickly with no BS. Wish all suppliers had customer service like that. Plus made in the USA !!!!!!!!!! So if your considering paver sealing give them a call and they will steer you to the product you need as they make several. Time will tell but so far alls good.

We were able to put 2 coats on about 1000ft2 without any issues. The first coat absorbed very quickly and required a little over 2.5 gallons. The next evening we were able to add the 2nd coat and it stayed wet longer so I was able to use a little less and get full coverage on the 2nd coat. The sealer does have a strong odor so we wore masks and also gloves in case it spilled. We used a Chapin sprayer (from Amazon) and I rinsed it out after the 1st coat so we were easily able to use it for the 2nd coat and after rinsing it again it looks like we will get to use it in the future. The patio looks great and the sealer seems to work very well. Update: We were finally able to see the patio (Oklahoma flagstone) in good light and the sealer has made the patio colors more even - looks better now. It did rain this morning and the water beaded up nicely.

Originally I did read some reviews (in general very highly rated) that indicated that applying this product was tricky, but never said why this is tricky. Here's the scoop; if you've used acrylic in the past to seal your pavers, then your expectation is that it is thick like paint and it is easy to see where you've applied it and where you haven't, however this is rather different than acrylic. The consistency is thin like water and if your roller is thick and absorbent then the sealant streams off the roller and you can end up losing a lot of sealant between the cracks if you're not careful. The other issue I had was that after rolling the sealant on a few paver stones, I could not see what I had covered and what was not covered. (I'm sure this is a total rookie move). After a while I figured out how to be more careful and the finished driveway looks nice. Then I saw my neighbor using the same stuff on his driveway, but he had a better approach. He got one of those hand-pump sprayers and he would lightly spray the pavement while his partner used the roller just after spraying, thus solving both problems I had.

I purchased the SX5000 to seal a new flagstone patio. I read all the reviews and decided on Foundation Armor. I put two coats on in the evening of Oklahoma's 90 degree heat and it set for over 24 hours before it got wet. Then it rained, and rained, and rained. Wow! I had water bubbles everywhere. There were some low places in my patio where the water was standing. I was a little concerned that the concrete joints between the flagstone might not be sealed. (I really don't know why, the water was standing on them, but the color seemed different to me.) I called customer support at Foundation Armor and "Mike" told me to go ahead and put a third coat on the joints, it wouldn't hurt anything. So I did! It has cured very nicely and has sealed perfectly. I am SO pleased with the results of the SX5000 and the customer service that "Mike" provided for me. Buy this stuff! You won't be disappointed!
