Good dryer
As far as drying goes- this is a great dryer! I have put pretty big loads in there to dry and even towels/blankets/sheets dry quickly! Only reason for 4 starts instead of 5 is the buzzer is ridiculously loud, and it goes off not once, but twice per load. (Once as a warning and the next time when it’s fully done drying.) It is SO loud and it goes off for about 20-30 seconds at a time and it’s awful. I knew this when I purchased it because all the reviews said the same thing but unfortunately this dryer was one of two dryer options with the size specifications that I needed, so I didn’t have much choice. I hate the buzzer, but everything else is great. They should have made an option to adjust the volume or turn it off completely.. oh well!

Not as good as my Maytag
Dryer ok. Wish it had an off switch for the alarm when finished drying. Annoying. Also wish it had more settings. Like just low. Also wish it had interior light.

Versatile installation options for tight spaces.
The dryer works well and I purchased it because of its smaller footprint and flexible installation options with respect to venting. I needed a machine that not only was smaller than a typical dryer but that could also side vent. I would have given it five stars were it not for the obscenely loud end-of-cycle buzzer.

Annoying buzzer
Have always had GE appliances. This dryer is the most annoying yet. The buzzer is so loud and so long, my neighbor can hear it next door and my pets are terrified of it.

Took a bit to figure out which setting worked best for drying thoroughly. Does a great job drying in an acceptable amount of time. Buzzer is way too loud and long. No light inside dryer makes it difficult to see if you missed any items as well. Would probably go with a different dryer if I could do it again.

noisy dryer
buzzer is very noisy....had to disconnect it. Takes longer to dry than my last GE profile dryer

Great value
Very happy with the purchase. Relatively low cost dryer, not at all complicated, easy to use and does the job. I am not a fan of the buzzer that notifies you that the drying is done and it can't be turned off.

Should have read reviews. Couldn't try out.
We made a mistake on not reading the reviews first. We couldn't believe the noise the dryer makes when it let's you know your clothes are dry. Most have it where you can turn the audible noise signal off. First time we heard it we were afraid the neighbors would hear it. Incredibly loud and ear piercing. No way to turn it off. Went back to read reviews and others say the same thing but too late to do anything about it. The company in reviews just tell the people thanks for the notice and they are going to fix it in the next model.

Buzzer sound, deal breaker....on 5 stars
Love the dryer but would never have bought with the horrible loud end of cycle buzzer. Our other dryer had an option to turn on or off so assumed this dryer would as well. Buzzer is louder than a smoke detector...cats go running and scared. Sad no option here and stuck.

We are sorry that you weren't informed about the end of cycle signal. On a "fixed" signal the volume cannot be adjusted. It will buzz automatically at the end of the cycle and once the timer moves to the OFF position, it will automatically shut off. Good product
It’s amazing how much the drying time has been reduced compared the old dryer. The one thing that should be changed is the buzzer, which has no control dial to turn it off or reduce the volume. It is LOUD! Our laundry area is on the second level of our townhouse, so the noise has an impact on us. If you’re not expecting it, you will jump!

Works well however 2 buzzers that sound at the end of the cycle are way too loud and too long! There is no option to turn off! Totally unnecessary.

Disappointed
Disappointed in dryer. Takes twice as long to dry clothes and end of cycle buzzer is VERY LOUD it's loud enough to shake the walls.

Good dryer, terrible buzzer
Good dryer, but the buzzer is AWFUL. There is NO option to turn the buzzer off. It is a long and EXTREMELY loud buzzer and goes off multiple times. No clue how anyone approved such an obnoxious design.

The dryer works as intended. An improvement can be made by allowing control over the very loud & annoying end of cycle buzzer. Disconnecting it by removing the back panel is the only solution.

Loud Buzzer
So far so good. One problem: the buzzer that goes off at the end of the cycle is so loud it rattles the whole house! Is there a way to turn it down or mute it?

A good basic dryer
Overall the dryer is good. Two things would make it better...a low heat setting and the ability to turn down the volume on the buzzer (when the cycle is complete).
