Why is my dryer not heating I’ve only had it for one day first time using it. It’s electric.
We'd like to assist with your new dryer not heating. The circuit breaker could be partially tripped even if it does not look as though it has tripped. We recommend you turn off the circuit breaker that supplies power to the dryer and turn it back on, then see if the appliance heats properly. If the issue continues, you'll want to follow the troubleshooting in the article titled "Electric Dryer - Runs But Does Not Heat" on our GE Appliances website. You can view this article on our GE Appliances website when you put the name of the article in the search bar and then click on the “Support” tab.
Can you change which side the door opens from?
Yes, the dryer door can be reversed to open from the opposite side. Please follow the instructions on pages 17-18 of the manual here: https://images.thdstatic.com/catalog/pdfImages/a1/a11e9e00-d93f-48ac-bb0b-56da25396e5a.pdf.
My GTX33EASKWW dryer has NO LOW HEAT Setting. Many fabrics require to be tumbled dry on LOW- how is that set on this dryer - so far what we needed this dryer for is not possible to be dried!! Need settings for this specific model to dry these fabrics.
This model does not have a low heat setting, instead, we recommend using selecting a normal temperature with the casual cycle.

does this dryer have an end of cycle signal
Yes, this dryer has what is called a Fixed End-of-Cycle Signal, which means it cannot be turned on and off and the volume cannot be adjusted. It will buzz automatically at the end of the cycle. Once the timer moves to the OFF position it will automatically shut off.
HOW DO YOU TRUN OFF DRYER BUZZER OFF
The end-of-cycle signal on this dryer cannot have the volume reduced or disabled.
Is the dryer electric prong 3 or 4 ?
The type of cord required depends on the type of outlet in your home. You will need to use a UL-rated 120/240-volt, 30-amp power cord.
