Easy to diy. Not the itchy mess fiberglass can be. The free one day rental of the blower was the icing on the install. The machine worked flawlessly and we installed 37 bales of this insulation in about 2 1/2 hours. We have already seen the improvement in the house retaining heat.

The cellulose was easy to blow in but definitely requires two people. Like most DYI projects, prep took more time than the actual blowing in the insulation. It is dusty, but not itchy like fiberglass.

Easy to blow in. Makes for easy and efficient work. Cost effective. However, there is a lot of dust. It got everywhere in the house as we blew, BUT we had to have the machine in the house because of the weather. We used it in another house. Had it for 15 years. Insulated and lasted just fine.

Covered exactly what packaging says it will. 36 bags done in 2 hours.

The manufacturer calculations for coverage are way off. It only covers half as much as they say it does. I had to purchase insulation two more times to complete the job.

The process was far easier than I expected. Would recommend that you were a respiratory mask and glasses and be prepared to get dirty.

Besides it being a bit dusty during installation it was easy to work with. The house felt warmer during a recent cold spell.

This is great insulation! Easy to use.

Bought this and got the blower free for a day. It was easy installation. I used one guy feeding the blower, one guy controlling the slack of the hose and myself blowing it. Really easy to use but a very dirty job. I used paper coveralls, dust mask, glasses and a headlight. Wearing a respirator would be better and easier to breath through once you get hot. Once the dust mask gets sweaty it doesn't allow breathing.

Our House is much cooler!!!!

After installing Greenfiber blown in insulation my home is 3° cooler. My 9 month old A/C is cooling like it should. Now my A/C cuts off in the heat of the day. Before installation of Greenfiber my A/C ran 19 hours per 24 hour period.I recomend this product.

Ordered online -local freight company made delivery and used pallet jack to move into garage. Bags were wrapped securely in plastic sheeting - no damage. Printed the e-mail order for use at local HD store to get free use of the blower. Lots of dust when blowing in attic and at blower - not itchy.

The product was good and at a fair price, the machine that was provided to us via Home Depot rental was garbage, it really struggled with pieces any bigger than a handful & to top it off it quit working before the job was finished.

it worked great! should have done it sooner.only took my wife,daughter and grandson 1 1/2 hours to do 36 bags. it has made a world of difference.

Easy to use and seemed to cover easily and thoroughly.

I regret doing this project. I used two pallets and after two months, my house smells so bad it's making me sick. You can taste the smell, it's that bad. It actually makes my lips numb if I spend enough time in the upstairs, which inconveniently happens to be where the bedrooms are. My dog even sneezes when he goes upstairs when the HVAC is on. All borate is supposed to not smell, but for some reason mine smells awful. The strange thing is that I got two separate pallets, spaced about a month apart, so I assume they are different batches. But my goodness, it STINKS. I'm certain it's the insulation because I smelled it while it was being installed- when feeding the machine, even unwrapping the packaging. The worst is when the HVAC system is running. All attic HVAC systems have tiny leaks on the return ductwork, but it usually doesn't matter. In this case, it's the difference between a livable house and a miserable existence. I hate this product.

Used on top and in between fiberglass bats. This stuff really fluffs up good and fills air pockets.

Insulation was amazing huge difference in cold air retention in our home need to buy another pallet so will be doing that soon
