This is a backsplash used in DIY type projects... It’s a nice cut of wood that cost about 80 bucks... You would think somewhere along the line someone would apply minimum common sense but nope...The item was shipped only with the plastic shrink wrap so what condition do you think it arrived in after being handled by UPS? Yes, multiple gashes, gouges and dents… I had to make due because I could not hold up the project any longer so more time was need to fix all the damage and prep the piece…

This is my 3rd purchase of butcher block from Home Depot and all have had the same issue. There is filler used in some places that is not stainable despite the description. I was cautious with my kitchen island and used tung oil due to its visibility and having had the same issue the other 2 pieces had. No luck, there’s filler on this one too. You can’t see it unless you treat the wood. It looked beautiful and perfect until I worked on. Even if I used mineral oil or clear Tung oil the spot would have shown up, just maybe less visible. The first time it happened I chalked it up as an oddity as the reviews are pretty good but 3 times for one household is not an oddity. So bummed.

This was a great addition to our project. I remodeled a 1935 historic adobe and wanted this for the island. It was easy to finish and looks beautiful. I will be using this again on other remodel projects.

Does the butcher block backsplash come in the organic white? I have the countertop in organic white but am not finding the backsplash in same color.

Easy to use, looks great!

This backsplash was not properly pr sufficiently packaged and came pretty severely marked up with ink. It came with very thin plastic that ripped quite a bit and the surface needed to be severely sanded down before it was usable. Disappointing to receive so marked up but after sanding, the final product did look similar to the listing. Works fine now. Wish I could share a picture.

The wood have marks all over one side and it have a big scrape from the fork lift in the Center of the boards

Far exceeded my expectations. The wood was beautiful.

This worked as a near match with a Birch BB I installed. I liked the grain so much I would purchase as a counter top on the next project if the budget allows. Very nice!
