I am really happy with this product. It was designed for a homeowner to install. I had the blades installed in less than 15 minutes. I think this fan looks better than the one that was there.

I am very pleased with the product. It is quiet, attractive and very bright. I needed more light and I get it with this ceiling fan/light. It exceeds my expectations and I would reccommend this to anyone. The fan runs smoothly and I am very happy with it.

Easy installation, bright light, however, it is making clicking noise and i have to replace it

Thank you for your review. Before uninstalling the fan, please call Hampton Bay customer service at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON (1-855-434-2678). In most cases, issues can be resolved over the phone with some minor troubleshooting. Most clicking issues can be attributed to loose or incorrectly installed blade arms/blades. Another reason for clicking is the wire nuts inside the canopy tapping on the inside of the canopy.

It was nice to be able to sub assemble the fan but the fact you had to go through the light box to attach the blade clips was a pain. Any time saved was lost in this process.

Quality finishes, fairly easy to install with good instructions. Seems to wobble a bit with the 12” downrod at medium and high speeds.

Thank you for your review. When properly installed, the fan should operate wobble-free at all speeds. Please check to make sure that the set screw on the motor collar is completely tightened and that the ball is seated properly in the mounting bracket so that the slot of the ball is seated on the tab on the mounting bracket. Also, please make sure that all blade arms are completely tightened. These details are covered in the complete installation video located with the alternate images on the product page.

Loudest fan EVER!!!
This is a beautiful looking fan and air circulates very well. HOWEVER, this is the loudest fan EVER! The motor when on the fastest setting is ridiculously loud. If you are looking for something quiet this is NOT the fan you.

Don't forget your down rod!
The picture on the box shows a long down rod which is deceiving. There is only a 6-in downrod in the box. Don't forget to pick up one if you need something longer for your installation!

Thank you for your review. In general, we suggest using a ceiling fan light as a supplemental light source used in conjunction with other lighting like lamps or recessed can lights to ensure proper room illumination. If greater light output is desired, the bulbs can be replaced with higher wattage equivalent LED bulbs (75-100-watt equivalent. Each socket is rated for 40 actual watts.

It’s a very nice fan and light. It was the color and style I wanted. It is quiet and works well with cooling and/or lighting the room.
We have only owned it for less than a month. I have no negatives to say, however, it is a little chunkier looking and not as fancy as I thought it would be. We kept it anyway and it does look nice in our bedroom.

Puts Out a Lot of Light
I was looking for a replacement fan with more light wattage than what I had. This definitely fit the bill. I would have preferred clear globes, but it wasn't a deal-breaker. As I am very short, I would have preferred longer pull chains (and a way to distinguish between the 2). But it is very quiet and does a good job of moving the air. It is very nice looking.
