I wanted to update my doorbell after getting the house painted. This item matched the look of the hardware on my front door and was installed as expected. Unfortunately, it has one major flaw when depressed the button gets stuck and I have to unscrew it and detach it from the wall to free the button. It looks good but doesn't work as expected so I'm looking for a replacement now. I noticed that in the reviews I'm not the only one with this issue, so my guess is that it is a design issue.

Easy to install and works fine. Seemed to be a little pricey just for a basic doorbell.

Button got stuck the first time I used it! It almost fried my new chime! Then we attempted to reinstall it and it fell apart. I returned it to the store today! JUNK! Put the old button back on, rusted and all and it still works! $18 for junk!

Looks nice but the button kept popping out. Ultimately had to super glue it.

The bottom at center does not secure in place and moves every time button is pushed. Needs a form to secure in place.

Waste of money..falls apart...does NOT install tightly, comes loose! Also the button sticks or falls inside. This is the worst product I have ever purchased from home depot! Instructions are worthless! I will never buy another Hampton Bay product! Theyare selling faulty products that waste my time and money!

Item broke a week after purchase. The button came off and no longer working

Attached to switch cover then attached switch to work box in wall. Worked out fine

The doorbell button looks and lights up nicely. However, it only worked correctly for a couple months. Now it sticks every time you push it causing the bell to keep buzzing until you unstick the button. Button is free of debris just poorly designed or manufactured. Time to replace the button…again.

Easy assembly and it worked immediately. Quality appears to be on point and the price was right.

I replaced this doorbell 3 times since this summer, July 2022. All three fell apart within a day. I wrote several different complaints and never go a response. After 3 replacements, Home Depot will not either give me a refund or let me exchange it for a different better quality doorbell. Buyer beware. Now I’m out all that money and no doorbell

The push button is not very secure and took some fiddling to make it stay. Almost had to put crazy glue around the bezel.

Color match with my door.

It was pretty easy to install. It lights up and works fine. However, the button is very easily pushed in, making the doorbell unusable.

I returned the item and got a refund. I found an item that required zero wiring, installed in two minutes and works perfectly fine. PLUS it cost 1/3 of your product. Please do not hound me for any more ratings.
