Perfect replacement doorbell.....

There's no way the button holder held onto the face plate so the button pushes into the wall. My modification didn't work - garbage.

I had to return it because it has a recessed light that needs to fit in the hole drilled for electrical, and it requires a pretty large hole. I had no way to drill out the existing whole without destroying the electrical wires. I had to take it back and purchase a standard rectangular doorbell. Giving three stars because it looked good with my door hardware, but I imagine the specialized installation will be a problem for most people who are just looking to replace a broken doorbell button.

Really easy "plug and play. If you have any similar button, just takes a screwdriver and about 5 minutes.

The actual button is not secured to the plate and when installed "as is" the button dangles out of the wall. I had to super glue the button to the plate and then install it. Poor design but it matched our decor so I made it work.

Easy to install. Does not come with wall anchors if you are screwing into stucco or brick.

About half the time the button is depressed it gets stuck. After additional examination the metal contact is getting pinned between the opposing metal contact and the side wall. What a waste of money. Unfortunately we live far enough out of town that it's not worth making a trip to return a $15 item.

I have no real "review" because it was too wide to fit and I had to return it for a narrower button. I'm sure it's fine because the look and feel of it was nice and it had all the necessary parts. It's a doorbell button. I keep getting these requests so I felt compelled to answer.

Simple and elegant. Installation is standard: 2 screws and 2 wires to connect. Affordable.

went in OK but had quite an issue with a small mounting hole and the wires for the doorbell extending through it, needed to chisel quite a bit to mount it.

Head of mounting screw broke off with remainder of screw stuck in wall. Made installation 1000% harder.

The light on the button almost acts as a "night light". Good for identifying things in the dark. Just remember to look at the back of the packaging to get close to the screw spacing that you have already.

Real nice door bell at a fair price. It was very easy to install and works great. It's also nice to have the button light up. Looks much nicer in person, and looks more expensive than it is.
