Be aware that 'this product will scrape off very easily even after fully cured. Applied to a modified bitumen roof following all directions and let sit 5 days in moderate weather with no rain. Then built a deck on the roof; any lumber edge that came in contact with the surface scraped off the coating. When I complained to the manufacturer because of the advertised "aggressive chemical bond" and "extreme" durability, they said they don't recommend any activity on the coated surface, not even walking. No where does their literature warn about this. Went on nicely and looks good but had to touch up scrapes. Thought the description was misleading in this regard.

I had a leak in the pool house deck and used one 5 gal bucket and covered the effective section and now we dry just have to repair the ceiling panels for water stain

I had my back porch enclosed. It has a metal roof. The six inch space between roof and ceiling was insulated. The room absorbed a lot of heat from the Texas Sun. I thought painting the roof with a reflective coating may help to keep the room cooler. The room temperature was about 88 degrees when the exterior temperature was 100. An email to Henry had them confirm that this was the best of their products for the job. The advantage of this coating was that it did not need a primer, it only needed one application, and had a lifetime warranty. Their other products did not meet these criteria. After $200 of coating and $300 to have it applied, the inside temperature was 88 degrees when it was 100 degrees outside. In short, it did nothing for me at that high temperature. But the roof now has a coating with a lifetime warranty, and on their say-so of the highest quality. I have subsequently come to realize there is a temperature range in which this coating is effective in having a cooling effect, say up to 90 or 95 degrees for my house. Then a point is reached where the heat is so overwhelming that there is a diminishing return. This is probably dependent on the nature of the building with factors such as insulation, window size, exposure to the sun, and so on. So, for my house, i experience a temperature benefit up to 95 degrees. This benefit then declines and by the time the outside temperature is 100 degrees there is no longer a benefit. This means that about 80%+ of the time in Summer there is a benefit.

I pressured washed the roof and used a roller to apply the Henry's 100% silicon. The product was easy to apply and the Henry's seam was also easy it was not thick like several other reviews claimed. The product looks like it will work I do still have a leak but I purchased another 5 gal. To cover more area just in case I missed the spot. the product is expensive but if it works and lasts it will be worth it. I hope Home Depot or Henry's stands behind the life time warranty I am not wanting to use it just like knowing it's there. Looks like a good product we will see over time. I am giving it five stars for now on the ease of use and holding the pounding water. God Bless

I purchased this product for the lifetime warranty and to minimize going up on the roof and messing about every 4 years or so. One thing to note about the product is that it goes on white, like other roof coatings, but it turns more of a light yellow color over time, however I don't care so much about the color on my particular roof as long as it works. The major issue I have is I was surprised when I went up on roof ten months after I did the project and saw the silicone tearing away by itself in a number of places. I talked to Henry customer support since I followed all product instructions and was very disappointed. I ended up having to ask to talk to a supervisor. Far as I could tell they were indicating it may not adhere to their 187 product very well, but of course that's the opposite of what the first customer service person told me the procedure should be. Anyhow, after much back and forth with them I am going back up on the roof to mess around with it again after less than a year.

I used Henry Tropi-Cool to recoat the roof on my 35 Year old mobile home . After prepping and cleaning the roof we coated all the edges with 3" brushes , this worked very well with the Tropi-Cool. Using 3/8' nap rollers with a 5' extension we then finished coating the rest of the roof . This is a 840 Sq Ft roof , We used 15 gallons on a nice heavy coating. Excellent Product easy to apply with proper preparation . Clean up with rags ,paint thinner and trash bags not difficult . Rained and hailed 2 Hours after we finished applying, held up GREAT!

My roof was completely overdue for re-coating. After a lot of research, reading and talking to people, I chose the Henry Tropi-Cool over the other versions. Once I applied it was apparent that the coating was very resilient and much ticker than the one I had before. I mean by a lot. My previous coating was done 4 years ago and was totally worn-out. Three days after applying the Tropi-Cool it rained so I wanted to see how it handled the water. It is exactly what I expected. The protection coat seems very resistant. The first impression is that this is indeed going to last a long time. My only small concern is that by being silicone rubber, it is very slippery when wet. But then, I'm not planning to go up to the roof anyways, so it does not bother me.

Wow this stuff rocks! I bought a mobile home that had a silver roof coating recently done but still had a couple of leaks. I fixed those with silicone but later decided I wanted to recoat the whole roof. Since the place is temporary for only about 3 years I figured i'd just coat the seams and the edges around the perimeter of my 14x70 mobile homes metal roof with this product to save some costs and coat the rest with stakool. As expected this product is thicker then the siliconed stakool 780 and it also drys a lot faster. when it drys the product is incredible. Rubbery and adhesion was outstanding over my silver coated metal roof. This product is definitely going to stand up to ponding water and prevent leaks. If it's in the budget and you want long term protection this stuff is the way to go. It's very impressive. Just wish it was cheaper. Cuts cooling costs and inside temps as well. This is pretty much the best roll/spray on roof coating on earth.

I had orginally painted a 40' conex container with white Rustoleum on the roof. As time passed, i found it didn't provide much rust protection where water sat after a rain. Rust started to form. I killed all the rust w/ Ospho before trying Henry 887. I came across Henry 887 and decided to try it on the roof. It went on great. According to all that I read, the 4.75 gallon container would cover 319sq ft. I was able to apply two coats on my conex container roof (40'x8'=320sq ft x 2 coats = 640sq ft) and still had some left over. The product applied well and beads water off. I can see it lasting a long time. It is a quailty product. Since i had some left over, i put Ospho on an old freezer (1981) lid killing the rust. I then applied 4 coats of Henry 887 to the freezer lid and it looks great...for a 35 year freezer that still works.

After trying multiple roof coatings year after year, chose to give this product a try and loved it. Not only it was really easy to apply, their Lifetime warranty is a blessing. And just a one hand application, I did it in just one day! Highly recommended!

You may read a detailed review by "Raven" that is me. Since that review we have had several days with temps above 80F the inside temps of the Camper and RV definitely cooler, and just yesterday we were hammered with marble sized hail and big downpour.. I just checked the roofs and No damage and inside of RV and Camper dry as a bone! Again very good stuff and well worth it so far.. I also inquired about putting another coat of Henry 887 on the roofs in the future, Henry said not a problem but make sure the roof is CLEAN for a proper seal / adhesion this is why they recommend re-coating with 48 hrs (the roof will still be clean). So again 2 thumbs up!

Pricy, but worth every penny. Had at leaky concrete roof on a generator outbuilding. The roof had fissured and sunk in several sections and water would pool and slowly seep into the building and walls. This stuff literally pours out onto the roof and you direct it with a roller where you want to focus it. I cant explain enough - this stuff is amazing. It hardens like concrete but has an elasticity to it. The 100% silicone must make the difference. I have bought a less expensive product in the past, but didn't notice it was "siliconizer". Not the same!!!! I don't feel like getting up on that roof again to re-visit any leaks, and with tropi-cool 100% silicone I'm not going to have to. Thanks Henry!!

I bought about 11 buckets in 2020. I cleaned the roof (concrete) as indicated in instructions (pressure whasher, TPS detergent and bleach-water mix whereas mold). ** BTW, roof was previously sealed by developer with cross 8500 in 2013, which last about 6 years. Applied tropi-cool 100% silicone with 3/4” rollers as instructed. Pressure washed every year aferre that with a 2000 psi to keep it clean. First two years everything seamed to be perfect. After 2nd year, I noticed it started to peal-off on some spots. I Resealed those areas with additional sealer. Every time I pressure washed it, it pealed-off more and more. I contacted Henry’s representative in Puerto Rico; and the guy interrupted me every 10 seconds to tell me that I was wrong doing it (specially with the bleach mix). After 15 minutes trying to explained my self, he told me that he cannot provide any warranty (which I never asked ) cause I was supposed to contact Henry’s representative before, during and after product application so that he inspect the procedure in order to be entitled to any warranty. I stoped him right there (cause that was pure BS) and told him I was just calling him asking for advice prior to re-doing the work. He agreed to come by my hose, but never did. That wast last year (by October). Now, HD representatives is telling me that once use silicone, I can’t use anything else as nothing will stick to silicone, but only silicone. AND THERE IS NO INFORMATION, ADVICE OR WARNING WHATSOEVER to tell the costumers about that. Completely disappointed..!

Have only had it on the camper less than a month but so far during several down pours no leaks product was went on with ease covered well and still looks good. Adding a couple more coats in a couple months just for extra measure

This stuff is very expensive..but...it works excellently. I have an OLD roof. A flat roof in several area where I've battled leaks for years. This stuff...instant fix. I wish I could afford 100 gallons.

I used Henry 887 on my 14 year old travel trailer EDPM roof, and the result is beyond my expectation. I am very satisfied; it looks beautiful. It was ready for a second coat in about 6 hours; a single coat is insufficient.

Seems that all my local Home Depots stock are from 2021 and older. Henrys states shelf like is 24 months on a sealed unopened can. Disappointed I cant get anything thats currently in code by me.

Excellent product, I have recommended this product to all my friends with RVs

I used it on the roof of my camper and my back porch roof. Seals and reduces temperature because it reflects heat instead of absorbing it. Easy to apply and good for years.
