I was looking for a ceiling fan without a light that I could install on my covered porch. I thought that this Home Decorators Collection fan had a pretty cool sleek look to it. The motor seems to be nice and heavy and the blades are made from a heavy duty plastic material which seems like it will hold up well. The blades have a nice woodgrain finish to them as well. The operation seems to be nice and quiet. Overall a nice fan that was easy to install.

I needed a fan for an outdoor patio and deck area. Both are covered and this Tager model fan is rated for outdoor use. It is also a DC motor driven fan so it will be both efficient and quiet. The remote control provides an added benefit in that all functions are controlled by control unit. The blades are a plastic-like material so they won't be impacted by humidity. A very attractive fan!!!

This is my 6th “home decorators collection” ceiling fan and as long as they keep making these high quality fans, we will keep buying and using them. This one is beautiful and although it is lacking a light we still love it. The blades aren’t really wood but no one will ever be able to tell once it’s up and they look so good u can’t teiljell the difference up close. This one is going on Mom’s porch and she’s going to love how pretty it is. Will have to teach her how to use the ap but she knows how to talk to google which is what we’ll be using to turn it off and on. We are very happy with this fan!!!!!

It works great for large porch of family room. It went together very quickly -A philips head screwdriver and a brief read of the instructions does it. This Tager 72 in. Indoor/Outdoor Matte Black Smart Ceiling Fan with Remote Control Powered by Hubspace is what I needed to complete out new outdoor patio project. I needed a large fan and one that was damp rated and very stylish. The installation was the ball and socket hang which makes wiring a lot easier than a hook style unit. The remote is simple to read and the cradle is a nice convenience. The fan blade span of 72 inches moves air well on low speed and is whisper quiet. The Energy efficient DC motor with 9-speeds offers a lot of comfort levels. I did experience some out of balance when I increased the fan speeds as some have stated. Tip: I moved one blade at a time to a new location and tested on high again. I managed to eliminate 80 percent of the original vibrations. Happy with the new results. The Hubspace installation was turned over to my teenage son who had it connected in no time. Yay! I am extremely happy with the output and the function this talk-piece fan offers. A very wise choice in large fans.

This 3-blade, huge 72-inch indoor/outdoor ceiling fan looks like an airplane propeller made of varnished wood. I specifically liked that it can be controlled by the hand-held remote or by a smart-device app on a phone or tablet. With Alexa, its settings can be changed with voice commands. The remote even has a timer. The fan does not come with a light, nor is there a place to mount a light fixture later. Its only job is to move air, and it does that well with its DC motor. The downrod design allows flexible installation options. The fan comes with all the pieces, and do-it-yourself installation is Home-Depot easy.

Ok, we like it, a lot. The fan is larger at 6ft wing span. It is perfect for the large family room. The shorter extension pole was needed (included) since the ceilings are not super high. A longer wire was included in case a longer extension pole was used. The three blade fan was a first. The blades have pronounced curves and really push the air. It is summer, so we have the fan spinning counterclockwise, and I can feel the air pushing past my feet at ground level. Assembly was easy. Search for drb diy home decorators Tager fan. You will see how to assemble the fan. We also show where to put the smart hub transformer remote box as the instructions do not mention where that part goes. It took about 15 minutes to install the fan. The remote control included is nice. The app is nicer as it provides more settings granularity. I did not connect the fan to google or alexa as they won't be needed. All wires and part fit nicely under the domes. No issues at all. Everyone likes the fan. Good product.

The Tagar has a striking design and with the included remote control and built in Hubspace feature this fan will be future proof. All of the fans in our house are standard 48 to 52 inch that were installed over 20 years ago. Motor technology and LED lighting has changed since then and we thought it was time to update some rooms. We chose larger fans so that we could possibly cut down on the number of fans in a room and replace those with a traditional ceiling light of some kind. We do have some other lights that have Hubsapce and it is a great app to use. Because of the larger size blades we may need to have an electrician move the ceiling electrical box so we will have him install the fan. The directions are straight forward and similar to smaller fans so installation seems simple for DIY. Please keep in mind that there is no light with this fan and you cannot add one at a later date. This is a personal review of the Tager 60-inch, remote control outdoor ceiling fan. Opening the box, you will find all the components wrapped in plastic and compartmentalized in cardboard packing. Not a scratch or blemish to be found. The instruction manual is detailed with drawings for each step of the process. I have found that laying the parts out in order of assembly are all important steps to assure a trouble free build. As I pulled each piece, I found the machining and finish to be excellent. Starting with securing the Gimbel mount to the ceiling with the secure screws to your electrical box (not included). The 3 blades are then mounted to the fan motor, along with the included hardware. Note, when attaching to the ceiling, please have a helper as it is cumbersome to climb the ladder with a 60 inch fan in hand. Also, I found it easier to lightly lube the threads of the down rod to make the surfaces mate together easier. Keep the wiring from getting pinched when fastening to the ceiling for a safer installation. The finish trim detail was good at keeping things looking neat and professional. Now , before finishing up, mount the remote receiver inside the upper trim ring. And follow the wiring directions. Details to program the remote transmitter are in the instruction manual. If you are wanting to add a light kit, this one is unadaptable for that. This was one of the easier kits that I have installed for a while and I believe this will provide many years of service.

This fan is big with a blade span of 72" and is perfect for larger areas. You are able to control the fan with a remove or your phone or voice control. The size of the fan really helps to move a lot of air when it's on, it has a max airflow of 8974 CFM and has 9 different speeds that you can control. Best of all it's a smart fan so you have greater ease of control using different devices. Assembly was very easy and instruction manual was easy to read. Overall a great fan for larger spaces!!

This is a beautifully designed smart fan that you can control with the either the included remote control, or by your phone or voice control. The fan has no light so it is meant to be installed in an area that does not require extra lighting. Assembly was pretty straight forward and took me about 15 minutes to install. The fan is rated for damp areas so you can install in any area. You can install the fan on a flat or sloped ceiling. I like how easy it was to assemble in install this fan, overall technology for ceiling fans has improved so much over the years. Looks great and light in weight, easy to install!!

This was one of the easier kits I have had for a while. I will say that the remote programming was a challenge for a guy that is used to pull cords. The color is great but expect to do some cleaning due to the light color. I believe this unit will provide many years of service.

Looks good. Reasonably easy to install. But at the highest speed it makes a rattling noise.

Already broken. Won’t turn on. I’ve checked everything out w power etc 😡

I purchased two of these. One 52" for my bedroom and a 60" for my living room. Assembly was fine except for the instructions don't say anything about the receiver and you're supposed to slide it in before hooking up any wires. The 60" makes clicking noises while on, the 52" is quiet. Considering returning both of these fans as they don't push a lot of air like they are advertised to. The highest setting on both of these fans feel like what I thought the lowest would be. Don't recommend these.

This fan very well in the great room. The fan that came with he house barely pushed any air on the high setting. I highly recommend this fan, especially if you have a large room and or high ceilings that struggles to stay cool in the summer. The smart features and remote are a plus.

The unit containing the electronics for the smart fan is quite large.
