good product to use to make outdoor furniture

I like the screws, however their Square driver bit keeps popping out. They need a star bit not Square then I would give them a 5.

Bit pricey but got the job done

I used these screws when building some outdoor furniture for our patio. They are fantastic, and are the perfect size for using with regular 2x4 dimensional lumber. Kreg recommends a 2.5" screw to be used with 1.5" thick material. Although Kreg makes a jig for larger lumber such as a 2x4, I was able to drill the holes on my Kreg K5 Pocket Hole Jig. These screws are fantastic, and I have never had one strip out, or come out of the box damaged or bent in any way. The Blue coating adds a bit more weather resistance, which I need up here in the pacific northwest. Our outdoor furniture stays outside year round, and the screws lasted through both last winter and this winter so far. I am very impressed with the holding power of these and will continue to purchase Kreg brand as long as they keep up with the great quality.

Always nice to pick up a small pack of 50 when you need them, I really wish our Home Depot carried the bigger pack in store vs having to order online, but oh well. Just another thing we have to order from the large wide web. You can't go wrong getting theses, expecially if you are going to be doing any of the pocket holes on any outdoor furniture or items. I would highly suggest looking to see if your local HD has the right size in stock before you make the drive. Our store only had one size.

I put up 2”x6”x8’ rails to posts for a fence job. They worked exceptionally well.

These are great! They are especially excellent for outdoor projects. I used them in raised garden beds.

Not a huge fan of square drive screws but i had no problems and zero complaints. I used these with pocket holes on 2'×6' and they were great.

I use these all the time to fasten things together with my Kreg system. My only problem was finding them in the store in Payson. They are not in with the rest of the screws and fasteners. thank God for your employee Terry Jones who knew exactly where they were and took me to them!
