[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My LG washer and dryer are almost over 12 years. So far I don’t have any issues. I just follow according to LG ThinQ app. Which is informative it tells monthly drum clean which is a special cycle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washing machine and I love it, the clothes came out clean, dry and smelling good, It also connect to WiFi so you can get notifications when the washing machine is done, you can as well setup your washing machine for the next day and when you wake up your laundry is done. I have this washer for 5 years now and I love it.

We bought this washer in March 2020. The outer tub (made of plastic) failed and the counterweight disconnected causing the unit to vibrate wildly and make loud noise. LG covered nothing under its warranty. A reputable appliance service company evaluated it and the bid to repair was more than buying a new washer. The service tech said the plastic outer tube was poor quality and LG longer offers that unit.

If we were going to be home all the time, I knew there would be more laundry. I used this as a stackable unit. I had to invest in a few anti-vibration pads from local hardware store, but After that it was fine. I love the steam functions on this set. I use the steam sanitary setting on my reusable masks and the steam refresh on clothes. I actually donated away my iron!

In general it has great features but about 6 months ago, we've noticed a tiny leak of water exactly where shown on the picture. Enough to trigger the water detection alarm and wet the parquet flooring on which it sits. I have reported this to LG with my extended warranty. They will come and repair it at some point it seems. I would have preferred not having to spend time in seeking a remedy to a product defect.

A little over 2 years later the machine sounded like a jet propelled engine! The ball bearings had failed & it’s in need of a big overhaul. Thanks to My extended warranty I am getting a replacement for free!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am satisfied with my purchase of this washer. I read many reviews before purchasing and I decided to give it a try. It gets my clothes clean and fresh which I like and I must say that I find it to be very energy efficient. Despite seeing reviews of it having long wash cycles, I’ve come to realize that only happens once it’s a large load, and it’s necessary to get all the clothes clean. The steam option is a nice bonus I can tell the difference after using it where my clothes are extra fresh. This washer also saves me from spending too much on detergent (realized I was using too much with my previous top load washer). I’ve had it for a few months and it works fine, being able to download a few extra cycles as well is a plus. All that being said, I will also share what I dislike or I’m a bit unsure of...which is the tub roll during the rinse cycle of heavy loads but I do have a feeling that it may be the way it was designed to handle unbalanced loads with the TrueBalance anti vibration motion feature. The engineering experts might be able to shed some light on that. The high speed rinse is a plus and makes easy work for my dryer which I love, also saving on my energy bill. Had this washer for a few months and I like it and I’m satisfied. I keep a absorbing cloth near after every wash to dry out any remaining water that’s left on the door and in the rubber seal area to avoid future issues, and do follow the maintenance recommendations. Good washing machine.

The smart-app notifies you once the clothes are washed and ready to move to dryer along with being able to start it remotely as well. Very energy and water efficient, we should have swapped them out a long time ago. We couldn't be happier!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this for about 3 months now and the thing that amazes me the most is all the different settings so just using normal isn't a thing anymore. You can have it wash as long or as short as necessary for the job, which saves time. Very impressed with this. Plus, the notification on my phone and the sounds it makes are the best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this washer to put in bathroom closet so my wife wouldn’t have to go up and down stairs. I wanted a quiet, reliable machine. This one is perfect. Our old top load washer in the basement sounds like a B52 engine winding up before takeoff.

What a beautiful washer. We got the set with the dryer. Not only does the washer and dryer send push notifications to you, they talk to each other! If you do a delicate cycle on the washer and then turn on the washer it sets itself on that cycle. (5 STARS)

After our 11 year old LG washer broke, we replaced it with this brand new washer in April 2020. Unfortunately, this new washer is not made how it was 10 years ago. This washer is already rusted next to the detergent dispenser. We make sure that the washer is always dry. We make sure that if there’s any spillage of detergent that we wiped out clean. Our laundry room is not moist. Therefore, this has to do with the material of this plastic washer machine. The door is hard to close as well. You literally have to slam the door shut in order for it to close completely. I am not happy with this washer. I really wish I had my old LG front loader from 10 years ago. Definitely need to go with a different company. Sorry, I do not suggest this washer.

This state of the art washer with steam and wifi is great but you can’t read the front panel! It’s not backlit so the grey small writing on black background with glass cover makes it very difficult to read options and choices. I had to use my cellphone flashlight to read. How did this get past any quality assurance testing??

Great washer — same size as my old Maytag but with 20% more capacity; quieter and more energy-efficient.

I have had this unit and its matching dryer for a month or so, and retired an older model of the same unit.I like the wifi feature. It is easy to set up and convenient. I also like the added settings which are more flexible regarding different modes for washing. I don't find the door latch as strong as on my last unit. I often have to close it more than once. I also think the detergent drawer is more flimsy than on the last unit. But I appreciate the newer cycles and that they (supposedly) use less water, measure the load better, and give you more options. The spin cycle is also good. You still have to pay more attention to cleaning the unit and its front gasket as with any front loader, and leaving the door open is still best for reducing any odor that can build up in any front loader.

I love it! It’s quiet and efficient! I am very satisfied with it, recommend it if you are looking to replace your washer!

Fast install and works great

It gets a code when put on quick wash and stops it which is odd. Otherwise it would be a 5.

The tub is bigger than my old machine and with the pedestal I don't have to bend down to load and unload. The tub wash feature is great, too. Very happy with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The display panel only lights up to show certain things like time left. Other than that it is extremely hard to read and select any other options. I am using in a very well lit area and it's still impossible to see. I thought something was wrong with it but in reading other reviews, it seems this is the way it is. In the store it's not plugged in and I assumed the panel would be back lit but it isn't. The new LG dryer I purchased at the same time is the same way. I wouldn't have bought if I had known. I did research it too and this was never mentioned until I searched for it. It cleans clothes fine, but for the the control panel not being lit, I would not recommend.
