Less than 3 years from purchasing this washer, the circuit board went bad and we have to replace it. It's not covered under warranty. The washer works okay, but I don't think I'd purchase again knowing what I know now.

I've had this washer for almost 3 years now. I liked it a lot, but always wished there was a spin only cycle. I figured if I ever got around to downloading the ThinQ app and connecting it I could download a spin only cycle. A couple months ago we began noticing water leaking. Repair person came twice and couldn't find the leak so I finally download the app to see if the Smart Diagnosis would tell me anything. It didn't and there's no spin only cycle to download either.

I had a front loader for 17 years before I purchased this one and its companion dryer. They are both terrible and get worse with time. The washing machine smells musty, so musty you can smell it in the next room. Smelly machine makes all our clothes smell. The only way I can get the machine to stop smelling is to wash everything on permanent press.

I don't know how much energy this washing machine saves. After washing, the smell of sock feet and the smell of sunscreen lotion were not removed from the towel. This is evidence that washing is not working properly. I will never buy this washing machine again.

Had this washer for 2 years and the bearing failed. Repair is more than the cost of a new washer.

My washer saved on both water and power. Takes clean to a whole new level. Quiet. Easy to clean. But I never expected it to fail inside of five years. Been waiting almost a month for action on my extended warranty. tE failure. I hope they resolve this issue soon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After the initial manufacturer warranty, I purchased additional warranty years. Glad I did, as after the initial warranty expired, my washer started leaking. Technician came out to look at it. Gave me some suggestions regarding the reason this may be happening. No service performed, just try this and if it happens again, let LG know. Service repair may be needed then. So far hasn't leaked again.

I've had this washer for almost 2 years now. It looks good, aesthetically, but my clothes often come out not that clean....shocking seeings as how long the cycles are (much longer than my previous non-LG front loader). I just don't understand what the issue is. I've tried large loads, and small loads and it doesn't seem to have any effect on the end result. I'm really disappointed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second LG front load stackable washer and dryer. The first set was red and played a little tune for a signal. This set is silver/grey and also play a tune. The dryer works with steam and washer has Fresh Care, steam. I have white towels and sheets and they come out perfect, even dirty dog mud towels.

The first was still working perfectly, but when we sold our home the buyer wanted the appliances included. That washer was not wifi capable, but this one is. Our current washer is quiet and cleans thoroughly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From day one it has leaked a little water from the door. Customer service said to wipe clean the door seal, but that hasn't worked. They said they would have a repairman call, but there was never any call. It does a great job of cleaning and I love the look, so I am putting up with the leak since it is now past warranty.

Worked good for a while but the bearings broke less than 18 months of use and only about 50 total loads of laundry. Something this expensive shouldn't break so easily. Wanted to say more but Home Depot limits free speech in these reviews.

Purchased this a year and a half ago and same breakdown issue happened twice. The drum stopped draining leaving a load of soaking wet clothes. Luckily i bought an extended warranty. I’m now using it a second time because of same issue. Last time it took 2 weeks for technician to fix it. We’ll see how long it takes this time. I would not recommend. It worked great for a year and this problem started right after the first year

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Washes great. After 10 months the unit started vibrating and walking across the floor. The suspension shocks needed lubrication. At 18 months, the door latch mechanism started to be unpredictable. It failed completely a month later.
