I bought two of these. One of them was fine, but with the other one it was very difficult to insert the plug end of the lamp I was hooking up. Once I got it inserted all the way, the fit was very loose and the plug would just fall out on its own.

Doesnt wrap around on the AC contact. Didnt work at all. Might work on some E26 scokets, but not mine.

This lamp socket adapter did the trick, I used them...
This lamp socket adapter did the trick, I used them to plug L.E.D. lights into my garage door openers. now I have a light that has the garage lit up like it is day time with doors open.

Outstanding Socket Adapter
Of all the socket adapters I’ve ever used, this is definitely one of them. It screwed in easily, and successfully provided electricity to the output. It worked even better than the Bass-o-matic.

Bought this inexpensive adapter so we could plug the Christmas...
Bought this inexpensive adapter so we could plug the Christmas lights straight into outdoor light. Works great and now no strand to the ground, timers to set and adjust, I just flip the outdoor lights on from inside the nice warm house. Easy peasy.
