Cheap...simple and group 3 together and you can add 8- 100 watt equivalent bulbs that are dimmable for the garage.....looks sweet...1600 lumens each bulb for a total of 12,800 lumens for detailing my car etc!

Been using this for the past 6 months in garage. Needed more light in garage and this was a life saver rather than buying more light fixtures. Installed it on an existing light socket and put two day light LED bulbs. This is for sure the best way to add more light on a budget.
I wish it had an universal joint so that bulbs can be pointed in any direction.

Very useful but expensive
These are very useful if you need a lot of light from one socket. I used three of them to quadruple the number of lamps for more light in the garage. They are very useful and fun but unfortunately they are really quite expensive.

They work Great!
I used the socket extenders to expand and make a grow lighting system. I used a trouble light for the first socket and then added 3 of these twin socket adapters. Works great with the cfl lights I used - everything all together is only 52 watts - so still less than ONE regular bulb.

Simple value, functions well
This one-to-two adapter works well with heavier bulbs like those used for photography studio setups. It could be sturdier but does its job well.
