Gorgeous floors! Rich color!
We replaced cheap laminate and carpeted bedrooms with 1200 sqf of Malibu Wide Plank in Hermosa. We glued the flooring down with Roberts Glue 1407 for engineered hardwood, purchased at Home Depot. Not only does it look beautiful but the color is so rich. The glue down method eliminates that tapping sound so many click and lock floors have. We are very pleased with the look, feel and investment our new floor has given us. Thank you Malibu!

Great Product
My wife and I recently purposed these floors, and they look even better installed. With two small children, they are very durable, easy to clean and really brighten up any room. We highly recommend this product.

Looks Great!
We love the look of this flooring! It was super easy to install and feels great with a good quality underlayment below. The only downside is that it scratches easily, and the scratches really stand out. Despite that, we've done two rooms in our house now and plan to do the whole thing eventually!

Maple Cardiff 3/8 in. x 6-1/2 in.W, Varying Length
The image looks exactly how it looks in person (varied color, knots, some dark streaked knots but not a ton). I had to try to match existing tongue & groove ceilings and this really worked well for that. Overall I am SUPER happy with these floors.

Zero regrets - beautiful and easy to install
I was hesitant to buy sight unseen, only looking at pics online, but am happy I did. Considered spending the $3 for a sample but don't think it would have done the look justice. Install was easy and result is a win. Definitely recommend.

Cardiff Maple - Unique finish and neutral color
First time I've purchased flooring online and was very happy when I saw this color in person. Nicer color than flooring in this price range. Contrasts well with carpet and tile of a different color.

Wide plank flooring in Hermosa-Love it!
This wide plank maple Hermosa-colored flooring gave the my home just the look I was hoping for with the beautiful dark grain color. So far, upkeep has been straight-forward and fairly simple. So glad we chose this flooring.

LOVE the look of this floor!
We installed 2200 sf in our home over slab foundation with glue. The floor color was equal to store sample. This is our 3rd house we’ve had hardwood or Engineered hardwood in and this is by far the best looking matched with great quality.

I do not recommend this if you need to match the stairs.
We have an entire upper floor of this floor, we love the look however when it come time for stairs, the stain is completely different.

Understand matte finish!!!
I’ve waited to write this review to give living time for the flooring. We had Manhattan Maple installed by a professional almost 7 months ago. The floor itself is beautiful. I love the vanilla white washed color, the grain, and the size of the planks. This floor is not high use, family friendly though. It has a matte finish that I do like and knew it was matte when we purchased it. However, it does not clean well. No matter what I have used to clean it with (ie water and vinegar, Thieves all natural cleaner, or something very similar), prints (feet or paw) DO NOT come up. When it dries, because of the finish, you can still see them. We don’t wear shoes in the house either. It’s VERY frustrating because we have a huge great room. I will have to live with these floors for a while because they are new. I would not recommend this particular brand/finish for a family or high traffic area. Note* last two pix are not dirty paws.... he just walked over it before dry.

In Daily Maintenance please see below: Daily Maintenance 1. Sweep dust mop or vacuum your floor regularly to remove any particles that could cause abrasion or scratch your floor. CAUTION: Vacuums with a beater bar or power rotary brush head can damage a floor and should never be used. 2.Apply appropriate cleaning solution to the cleaning cloth / mop. Use a cleaner specifically manufactured for hardwood flooring. Do Not Use Water or Vinegar. First the pros - it looks very beautiful and the light color makes the room looks big and very so...
First the pros - it looks very beautiful and the light color makes the room looks big and very soothing.
Now the Cons - it SHRINKS.... we have got gaps between planks in multiple places now. Not sure what to do because dirt gets accumulated in those gaps and doesn’t come out. We thought that in winters it shrunk because we get cold breeze from under the entrance door or from balcony and would go back to original size in summers, but no, these gaps seems permanent now.
It’s been 2 years since we got this flooring.
We got it in May 2019 and the gaps started appearing in winters of 2019 and we still have those gaps.

Beautiful Flooring for a Reasonable Price
This flooring turned out to be even better that we could have imagined! We love the look of the floor - it has a matte feel that looks luxurious and the details in the wood are beautiful.
We would highly recommend the product not only for its looks but also for its value and how quick the company was to ship it. We had to special order the wood and 25 cases arrived after just a few days.

Ripped carpeting out of two bedrooms and installed the Malibu wide plank. Put it down over 1/4" cork and I'm very happy with the result. Really spiffed up the rooms. Simple to work with.

In love
The flooring is even more beautiful in person! We didn’t order a small and based it off of reviews / product pictures. I don’t think if we ordered a sample we would have got this flooring but we went all in and ordered a pallet. This is literally the most beautiful flooring I have ever seen and I’m so glad we didn’t decide on a darker floor because this has a lot of variations of patterns and colors. We couldn’t be more than happy with this.

Great Value!
This flooring looks so much better in person than it does on the website. My flooring guy was able to install quickly with ease. Looks like some of the more expensive wood flooring. I highly recommend! I had it delivered to the store to save shipping. The HD guys brought it to my car and loaded it too!

Beautiful Flooring
We finished the space above our garage and turned it into a gym. We selected the Maple Cardiff flooring as it complemented the trim around the windows and gave the space a warm feel. We had the flooring installed and it went very smooth with no complaints. We installed it in February 2018 and we work out every day. I keep a broom and Bona mop handy for keeping the floors clean. We also installed wood blinds a few months after the flooring to protect the floors from any possible fading. We wanted a natural feel with the wood floors, blinds, and wood beams in the open ceiling. After almost 2 years and daily workouts, the floors still look brand new!

Beautiful flooring
We used Maple Pacifica in our living room and dining room and plan to use it in our hallway later. My husband said the installation was not difficult, although it took a bit to get the knack to fit the planks together. It looks beautiful, as if it has always been here. We chose a medium brown color. We installed felt on all of our furniture before returning it, so I hope we can prevent scratching. We would buy this again.

Noisy
The appearance and variation of this floor is great! But it makes, what I would call, excessive creaking sounds. Our subfloor is good, no noise issues. We used quality underpayment. Going to set up an inspection with Home Depot. I did notice that two orders came from two separate locations- one from Vietnam and one from China. The lot from China seems much noisier than the lot from Vietnam. Appearance is equal (different boxes tho). Has anyone else notice this ?

Please call our Malibu Wide Plank Technical Hotline for assistance at 800-928-6168. As long as installation instructions and all install and subfloor requirements were followed, floor should not creak. When floating, the subfloor has to be flat to within 1/8" in a 6 ft span. If there is any deflection, then the floor may creak.

Our dishwasher overflowed and we had to replace our engineered wood floors. This turned out to be an excellent choice. It gives our standard condo box a modern feel. I can't speak to the installation--the contractor had to glue the joints and said it was a little more difficult--but the results are great. We love it. There is a lot of variation between boards and it's a lotta look, but if that's your cup of tea you won't go wrong.
