Impact is well balanced and the two speed setting is nice. You can go from screwing decking down to installing light fixture screws. And it's durable I've accidentally dropped it off a second story roof. And still it rattles away. The reason for four stars is the batteries don't last that long. Overall a good buy though.

I bought some hex socket adapters and use it to work on my car. This can remove old rusted bolts pretty well, I have come across a few that gave me a hard time but overall it works well. Everything seems well built, nice case and I like that it came with two batteries.

This thing is awesome. lightweight, has the nice light near the drill. Totally worth it. I am tired of RYOBI tools running out of batteries every 2 seconds. All I can say is this is night and day, you can also buy hex drill bits for this as well. I got mine on sale for $99, I am surprised the price went up so much. Still worth it though not to deal with the inferior tools and batteries. It works with standard hex bits as well.

great tool if you don't have one you need one better torque and rpm control than drill driver

I have owned a Milwaukie drill and bought this driver so that I could share the M18 batteries. It has been a great tool---easy to use, strong torque and long battery life. Only wish I had bought the two tools together originally.

I didn't think that a cordless had this much power, it drives bolts into motors like nothing it even takes off wheel lug nuts, and drills screws threw walls like poking butter, and tool was bought at the Home Depot! Who knew that they would carry a tool to make my job as a technician easier!!!

I picked this tool up to compliment an 18v system for a friend of mine. The tool Performs how you would think it should for an 18v impact driver. Plenty of power, not too heavy. I also have the Milwaukee 12v "Fuel" impact, and this 18v performs almost identically to that one. The speed switch is handy when you're working on screws you want to be careful around, and a feature not all of these impacts have on them. All in all, a solid tool, especially if you're already have a couple M18 Milwaukee Tools.

This is a great value and the battery last so much longer than others we have purchased. This "special" that you ran was wonderful, and you need to run more in the future.

Out of the box both batteries were 70% charged. Using the tool on full battery alternating the two from the charger while driving screws all day it seems the tools/batteries performance dwindles after three battery swaps in continuous use. The tool is susceptible to overheating and after continuous use with alternating batteries from the charger, the impact portion remains consistent but the turning of the screws becomes more of a chore. The tool was used half of the time on the 1 setting, other half on 2. Using the tool for heavy work 3-4 hours is excellent. Perfect performance on either setting. Batteries top off quickly on charging cycles. Using for light work is a dream for drywall and trim. I plan to buy more Milwaukee M18 tools in the future since this is my first and only cordless tool to date. Power delivered from the batteries and tool are consistent unless using all day long without breaks in driving.

I am very satisfied with this impact. It is much lighter than my old impact (different brand). It charges readily ensuring the ability to continue working on any project. I use this tool on a daily basis and have no complaints as of yet.

Love Milwaukee tools they will get the job done big and small. Feel nice in my hands not too heavy just a very good drill

As we all know Milwaukee tools are to drool for, most of we home do-it-yourselfers can't normally justify the cost of a Milwaukee tool for personal use but Home Depot this past Christmas season put this set on a one-day sale for $89 when the retail price was $199. I heard of it on the radio, went on line and bought it immediately even though I have a very good Porter Cable driver I have used for over two years. Value was just as I expected and I will be using it extensively this spring when we begin another Habitat for Humanity home here in central Michigan. To HD thank you for a great value on a great tool.

I gave this as an extra Christmas gift and he loves it! He has other Milwaukee drills, but states this one is more powerful and effective AND he wants more like it. AWESOME!

Two speed drill, solid made. The case is also solid and I'm certain it will last a lifetime as well. I'm picky about the tools I purchase & I expect the tools I do purchase will do the job well. I am not disappointed. I purchased this drill on sale for just under $100 and it feels like a steal.

I bought this impact driver at Christmas. I love the power, the length of battery life and how it gets into tight places. I have used this daily with great results. Perfect for woodworking and construction.

This drill is ergonomic in design. It is light, compared to my other drills/drivers, and balanced. The batteries last longer than my other cordless devices. It is powerful.

Haven't used a lot yet but seems to hold charge well and has plenty of power to drive screws. Have other Milwaukee products and they've held up well.

I have three of these, bought the other two used and gave those to my boys. This is an awesome tiem. Can be uses for working on cars to working around the house or at the ranch. I take it with me every time I go to the deer lease. If you ever buy one of these, you will never buy another brand. This is absolutely the bes drill I have ever owned. I have one in 1/2 drive for working on cars, hold charge for what seems like forever. The yellow one I had I threw away as I had issues with the battery..never had that issue with this one...

The product is as described. I can not say much more as its brand new with minimal use thus far. The Home Depot price was outstanding. Thanks HD
