I used them(2) for gutter drain water that was eroding the soil..... worked perfectly!

I replaced my flat cover with the raised cover. The raised cover provides more surface area so the debris doesn't plug up as much as the flat covers.

With moderate pressure to push the grate into the drain pipe, three of the vertical bars broke at the lower joint. Would have expected grate to be much more burly, as it looks and feels pretty rugged. Ended up going with flat 6" grate which was less then ideal for my application. Did not return to store for credit since I broke the item and it wasn't all that expensive.

I have a catch basin in my garden with a flat grate that would get clogged with mulch and debris in heavy rain. This atrium grate solved the problem. It does not get clogged, allowing rainwater to continue flowing into the catch basin.

Used to keep lemons at work from clogging up the drain servers dump used glasses in. We have a filter but it’s so long it comes in three sections and the gaps allow lemons and straws to get through sometimes. No more having to stop washing dishes to plunge that drain. I’m happy I can focus on my job

Purchased this grated drain cover to raise the height of a discharge pipe in my backyard. We added mulch to the bed and wanted to keep it from falling in and clogging the pipe. It is a loose fit though, and can easily get knocked out of place.

Part was as expected, The only concern I had, the gaps between the grate were bigger than I was hoping for. I resolved this by wrapping with some screen material to act as a finer mesh.

Pretty simple, hard not to fail...Will need to order more!
