Planted trees within one hour of arriving. One tree looked dead from start and is. One tree looks iffy. But still alive. The third tree looks good.

This winter I purchased 3 of these trees, 2 in Dec, 1 in Feb. The Feb tree looked pretty good. It was bare root but has come out of dormancy well. The Dec purchases were not good. Both were only 2 feet tall, and were a single "stick" with no branches at all. Even though both were in soil and rooted, only one came out of dormancy. So ordering is hit-or-muss on quality.

Ran out of in store stock at local store so ordered online with plenty of stock! Arrived & shipped quickly. Started budding/leafing out about 1-2 weeks after planting outside in a large container! Lots of healthy new growth and a good sized diameter trunk! Love it so far will allow it to grow a full 1 to 2 years to establish good roots before allowing it to set fruit?

Dwarf Blenheim Apricot
I bought thos tree Feb 18th, it arrived quickly and well packaged. I planted it immediately. It is now March 14 and this little tree has begun growing leafs and is doing very well! I'm extremely happy with this purchase and can't wait until it begins to fruit!

    Hardy tree, grows fast!
Great value. Arrived quickly, planted early January and it sprouted leaves by early February. Attached photo is from early March. This is a variety you can't buy in stores because it doesn't transport well, but it's so tasty! Can't wait to eat the fruit from this tree. May buy another one if I can find space for it.

      Came in perfect condition
Came very well packaged and just as I was expecting. Only thing is waiting until spring to see if it produces leaves. Will update later. But overall, delivery was fast and no complaints!

        Not 3-4 feet tall
Even if I measure to the very base of the pot, only one of these hit the mark. I actually had to look up measuring plant height, and all that I read indicated that you would measure from the dirt level up. These are very small with zero leaves. I have planted both, but these are absolutely not as advertised. I will be hopeful that these poor little guys will be so happy to have a real chance that they may flourish, but they will need care and more time than expected from the description.

          poor quality
Should have listemed to the reviews. Just a stick grafted onto rootstock.

            damaged in transport
This apricot tree was smaller than the other three fruit trees I bought. The box was crushed in delivery, and snaped some budding branches right at the Y. So heart breaking.. I belive the tree will survive. The branches did look healthy just very skinny.

                Too small
This tree was no where near 3 feet. The scion looks pretty bad too. I was expecting a small tree not a twig on rootstock. On top of that my order was missing 3 other trees. Hd customer service refunded me for the missing items easily but so far not happy with the tree.

First of all I am an experienced gardener. I always love to have an apricot in our garden and tried to have one. It was good if the apricot survived but even I planted as instructed the tree DIED, beyond any revival. I am expecting a FULL refund, or at least a replacement.I am very, very disappointed.

                  Pleasantly surprised
I got this tree delivered in January in the northeast, zone 6. It arrived bare root and packaged perfectly. I was a little skeptical, because it was just bare sticks. It looked like a dead branch in my pot. But…. By February, little green buds arrived. Now it is April and it’s bushy and lovely. I moved it outside. It will come in Oct-April to hunker down for the winter. I absolutely love this tree. So if you are in a cold winter area, rest assured, it’s a great patio pot tree.

Do not recommend to buy unless you have extensive experience.
Will not purchase again. Almost no roots. "Tree" looks like stick that was wrapped in nice packaging.

                    Doing Great
I was a bit concerned about planting it during winter time here in South California. But to my surprise, there was no issue. It is thriving . It is taller than me now. I am so happy about it. (picture taken this July 12, 2022). Hoping that it will bear sweet fruits soon and that would an additional review.

good for pots in alkaline areas.
Apricots are not sold in my area due to our alkaline soil. I bought four of these dwarf treas to grow in containers and be able to control the soil pH. They arrived in about a week to central Texas and they were well wrapped and packaged. I soaked them right away for a few house, but I wasn't ready to pot them up for a few days. I bought 13" self watering plastic pots and made a soil mix or native organic potting soil, acid amendment, Bio Tone and perlite. I have them set on the east side of my house, which is the coldest and I'll be able to move them around as the season go's on. I

                          Well packaged. Heathy little tree.
Arrived well packed and still damp. Looks healthy with leaf still evident. We have had fruit success with our other dwarf trees and I can't wait to see this apricot tree thrive. Will update spring of 2022.

                            Excellent healthy tree!
I am completely satisfied with my purchase. Everything from delivery, packaging and plant health on arrival was great. I received the tree later in January and planted it on a warm day in February. It took off quickly as it was there since a year before. Produced strong tall multiple shoots and is still growing. This is the first year for the tree, so I can’t comment on fruits, yet:). I certainly will buy from this seller again!

I'm so happy with online orchards dwarf apricot tree. It came in a timely manner and was packaged right for a tree. There was still moisture in packing and easy to plant. It was already budding and the tree looked very healthy.

Overall, VERY happy! Online Orchards bare root Dwarf Fuji (1), Honeycrisp (1), and Blenheim Apricot (2) trees are excellent starters for our little orchard. Online Orchards prepared the four in moist sawdust, protected hard plastic, and wrap, then shipped right away. Excellent enclosed and online directions for initial water soak, digging and prepping the planting hole and soil. We put them each in 5 gallon Home Depot buckets with water for 6 hours, dug 3-4 foot diameter holes, then mixed in some garden top soil (not much) because of our predominantly clay ground. We watered twice a day for a week, then once a day for the next three weeks (to date) and will continue for another 4 - 6 weeks. Three of the trees showed new leaves within 10 days (both apples and one Blenheim), and the last Blenheim (which had the least root fibers on arrival) just showed new leaf-buds at 3 weeks. Be patient - up to a point of about a month, I'd guess. Here in NW Olympic Peninsula, deer are constantly roaming through, so netting a perimeter 6 ft high is working great.

Can't wait to taste the apricots next summer!
Got this for a birthday gift along with another tree. Looks really healthy and I'm so excited to see how it takes off. I have read a lot about these type of apricots and they sound like they are really tasty. Hopefully all goes well and I will be harvesting by next summer.

Very impressed with how the tree came packaged. Bare root tree that was wrapped very wet straw tio keep the roots moist and alive then wrapped in plastic and burlap to keep the box perfect. The tree itself looks very healthy and I planted same day following the directions they included in the package. It is about 3' tall and very sturdy/solid. It even had some signs of life out of the box in the way of 3 small little green leaves coming from the pruned limb area. My last bare root tree (from a different supplier) failed to come to life and was pronounced dead. When comparing how the two varied in shipping method I wonder if the other just failed because of transport. Where Online Orchards used a ton of wet straw held well in place around the roots by the burlap and plastic this other supplier used nothing to hold only a small handful of wet newspaper loosely in the area of the roots. Anyways point being if anything Online Orchards does a fantastic job of packing/shipping bare root trees and the tree itself looks very healthy so I am excited and looking forward to bringing up what should be a bountiful apricot tree.

I was a bit unsure of buying a tree on line. This apricot tree came packaged very nicely. The trunk is very straight. Also, the instructions on how to plant and care for the tree were very thorough. I am looking forward to watching it grow and produce fruit.
