This has been placed under the flooring in an attic of an old farmhouse. The inside temperature of the farmhouse, currently under renovation, immediately was noticeably warmer, even when the actual heating system has not been activated yet. The insulation has already been a money saver.

This insulation is relatively easy to work with. We had to replace our electrical in our walls, so every room was taken down to the studs. We installed this insulation and vapor barrier. The house is so quiet and in the winter months nice and warm.We also used it as a base of insulation in attic.

I chose this product because wool batten is much safer...
I chose this product because wool batten is much safer in the event of fire. It doesn't melt like fiberglass. Easy to install, but required cutting since my home is circa 1975.
