60W LED bulbs, good price, bright, decent color
Saw these LED bulbs at a good price so I tried them. Not sure why, but these bulbs appeared even brighter than the 60W incandescents they replaced. Color output was good - close to an incandescent but still had some of the "white" color of a typical fluorescent. I'd give it a 3 on a scale where 1 is incandescent and 10 is fluorescent. Works fine in a bathroom and in shaded fixtures. It seemed to "white" for me in a ceiling fixture without a cover where I was used to an incandescent feel. They run cooler than incandescent or fluorescent and there is no lag time in turning on or warming up. Part of the appeal to me was that it is supposed to last for 10 years. If it does, then I'd be very happy with this purchase. Note: This bulb not designed to dim.

Inexpensive and good
The bulbs so far are working quite well. The bulbs stated to not use in enclosed fixtures (the box didn't say that), however they seem to be working fine in the enclosed fixtures I have them in. My understanding is to not mix with different types of bulbs which produce more heat. They have a shorter estimated life for LED bulbs at 10 years, but at the cost of $5 for two that is not a problem and in 10 years who knows what might be available. I recommend buying them.

Great so far
Bought 4 bulbs and I haven't noticed any buzzing. In fact, these bulbs are brighter than the incandescents they replaced, which were 60W. So far, so good but I'm skeptical of the lifetime. I've kept the receipt and marked the date of purchase on each bulb so I get the 3 year minimum warranty.

All true. Very bright and seems brighter than 60W. Excellent color not that weird blue tone. Fantastic price.

    Great Bulb - Unbelievable Price
I bought these bulbs because I have been wanting to switch to LED bulbs. I use 4 in each bathroom to replace CFL bulbs. So much brighter and whiter light. Really lights up the room and saves me money and energy as well. Would recommend to any one wanting to get LED bulbs for there home.

    very pleased with these bulbs
These seem too cheap to be good but there were! I'm pleasantly surprised by the light output and no lag time. Not sure how long they will last but I'm very pleased with these at this point. I'll have to replace my CFL bulbs with LED's if they become this cheap and good.

    Brighter than expected
The light was 2700 but a bit brighter than the the 2700 CFL bulbs. It will make the lampshades a bit whiter

    Love LED
Having worked as a lighting designer for a number of years, among the things I learned is that most people are either unaware of the color temperature of light or do not understand it. The people that complain that they do not like the look of a specific light bulb generally are not happy with the color of the light, not the bulb itself. That being said, LED bulbs offer a wide range of color temperatures. The color temperature of any light bulb is measured in degrees Kelvin. If you look on the packaging, it will provide the degree Kelvin of the bulb. 7000 degree Kelvin (7000K) is closely equivalent to sunny daylight--it is a blue-white light. A bulb in the 4000K is closer to a natural white light, bulbs in the 3000K range are equivalent to a standard incandescent bulb. The color temperature of the bulb will impact surroundings, especially in your home. Incandescent color temperatures will accentuate the colors of your fabrics and furniture. Many people will install a high K rating bulb and then not be happy with it because it may look too harsh for their decor as they generally bring out the blue tones in decor. In addition to accenting your surroundings, a LED bulb is very cost efficient. A 60 watt incandescent bulb uses 60 watts of electricity, a 60 watt LED may use only 8 watts of electricity. LEDs last for many years and their light output does not diminish over time. They also do not generate a lot of heat while in use, unlike standard incandescent bulbs.

    Great Price Drop!!!
Great to have LED Light Bulbs that work sold at an affordable price. Direct replacement for the older incandescent bulbs. Fit al of the enclosed places. Just make sure you don't expect to use a Dimmer switch. If you want to have it dimmable, pay the extra for that ability. But they are still at an affordable price.

    Great Replacement Bulbs
No other LED compares, i have put 20 of these around the house and have no humming noise that some reviews speak of, even have 4 in my living room right above where we spend most of our time and no noise. They offer great brightness with the soft white setting to where it is not overwhelming like LEDs can be. Great product, if on the fence, just buy it. I am going back for 20 more today.

    what a deal
These work great for applications where you don't need dimming. Good light output, brighter than CFL and instant on. Nice price point to start replacing my CFL's that are starting to die off.

Great light bulbs - truly soft white light
I bought these Philips LED light bulbs because their look and shape is the closest to an incandescent light bulb out of all of the ones I looked at, their lumens and Kelvin number are almost identical to the incandescents they were replacing, I trust the Philips name, and the price couldn't be beat! I was a little nervous they might look too white, more like a fluorescent bulb...just because of the nature of LED's, but my worries were unfounded. I replaced all three bulbs in my bathroom fixture and I'm very happy with the result. They truly give off a comfortable soft white light that is as bright as the old bulbs, but somehow a little better. I can't explain that, but maybe it's because the old bulbs were really dusty, LOL. The lower portion of each bulb is visible beneath its bell-shaped glass shade, which is why I looked for an incandescent shaped bulb. I spent a fair amount of time researching and shopping around before finally making a decision and the Philips LED light bulbs are the absolute best all around, in my opinion. Shipping was effortless too. I received my order only only two days after I completed the purchase. I will definitely be ordering from Home Depot again!

      The Bulbs Rock!
Replace "instant" on compact fluorescent bulbs and I am very please on how these LED bulbs actual do turn on instantly. The color is a bit on the warm side, but not pink. The are rated to put out the equivalent light of an incandescent of 60 watts. They actually seem brighter. Good spread of light with no bright or dark spot in the room. Great value.

Cost effective way to upgrade to LED lighting
The cost of LED replacement bulbs has dropped significantly over the last 18 months. This 2 pack offer from Philips and Home Depot is a great way to change out your aging light bulbs in a cost effective manner. The light from the Philips LED bulbs is bright and uniform making the bulbs an ideal replacement for your 60W bulbs. NOTE that these bulbs cannot be used with a dimmer.

Great LED bulbs for a great price!
Finally! A good name-brand LED bulb 60W equivalent for less than $5/bulb! Glad to see the prices of LED bulbs keep coming down. (I'm not a fan of FEIT Electric bulbs) This bulb is a good warm light, not your typical blue light you used to see in a lot of LED's of the past... Instantly comes on, fully bright - does not have to 'warm up' like many CFL's. Save yourself some dough on your electricity bills and change over all your bulbs to LEDs!

Flip switch, these turn on. They create light.
These get much brighter and in quicker time than CCFL's and I expect them to last even longer. I've got them almost everywhere in my house now. Finally!

        Great replacement for standard/cfl bulbs
The price is low enough on these bulbs that I decided to replace all 38 standard/cfl bulbs in my house. These things are bright and give off a soft yellow hue. It's amazing that I can effectively run 6+ of these LEDs using the same amount of power in one standard bulb. Initial install of 38 bulbs went well and all bulbs work. I'm very happy with them so far. The only things left to judge is the lifespan of the bulb and if they fail then how smooth the replacement process will be.
