this was the first tiling project I have done and this tile saw is a very simple easy product to figure out use and complete a project in a quick timely fashion without having to worry about if the cuts are going to be correct or how this is to be done with another tool this item served its purpose greatly and is highly recommended for anyone including newbies to this type of project

I consider this QEP Torque Master 3/5hp Wet Tile Saw as a Middle of the road Tile saw and the perfect size for all of your small to med tile jobs !! This one cuts through tile like butter, easy to handle and carry around, set it where you need it, fill it with water and start cutting !! It's made from Durable Plastic, so no rusting and no water all over the floor, stays in the tub, cuts angles and all types of tile, it's a good buy !!

Bought it just over a warranty's year last year in June and did one big kitchen tile job with it and finally another tile job this month, (I'm a general contractor, not just a tiler) and the motor started squealing just before I finish this medium sized washroom job. Now I can't get it fixed under warranty because it's 20 days late. Would only recommend if you plan on using it for 1 job, which for the price point is alright but don't expect to use it professionally.

This was terrible, water reservoir was too shallow, nut that holds the blade in place kept coming loose (spinning blade loosens the nut), struggled to get through 8" floor tiles, makes a terrible mess, reverted back to hand cutting tiles for now.

Cutting 12" bathroom tile - does a nice job - 1 hour into this project. No stalls. Cut straight cuts and notches. Cut slowly. Base moves around so needs a backstop. Spray guard obscures the cut line - so be prepared to wear an old shirt and face mask to deflect the spray if you don't use the guard.

Worked very well, easy to assemble and use. Was able to do the whole shower with no problems

Is ok for small jobs. Water reservoir is extremely shallow. If you don't keep adding water after each 1-2 linear feet of cutting, the blade will be dull and become unusable.

I tried 6 tiles and they were all chipped. Bought a different wet saw tried more tiles and got smooth clean cuts. The QEP wet saw just wasn't strong enuf for my diy tile job and was very messy. Gave 1 star as price was good.

Great tile saw for a “do it yourself .” Did a large subway tile job in my kitchen. The saw was great, more then I expected. While cutting, do not force the tile, let the blade do the job. Other reviewers said tile chipped at the end of the cut, but there was a simply remedy. Set your cutting guide, start your cut and cut about 3/4 of the way through your tile. Turn off the saw, once blade stops spinning, back out the tile. Flip the tile over, place tile back on cutting guide and continue the cut back to where you stopped. Made lots and lots of cuts and not one chip. For the money it is a no brainer, made the job easy. Remember for a do it yourselfer, not a pro, just don’t push it, it is a small saw with a relatively shallow cutting depth

Had to cut tile for my bathroom and did not like the idea of renting because I take my time and wanted it for more than one day. This saw works great and cost as much as a one day rental. Has allowed me to cut the 24" X 12" floor tiles easily. Also I was presently surprised at how clean the cuts were. I did not expect them to be that clean. You do have to regularly top off the water.

Great tool for the price. Easy to use and maintain. I used it to install a diagonal pattern in a half bath. This was exactly what I needed, and it fit within the project budget.

This table saw was easy to assemble but did not work well. It shook extremely bad when powered on no matter what surface it was sitting on. None of the cuts made were straight. Being that it’s made off plastic, did not assist well in keeping the tile aligned while being cut.

For the price it’s pretty good, better cutting on smaller tiles, but possible on large format. Difficult to change blades, (unless I’m missing something!), great for small projects

The saw is easy to use and worked well to cut our ceramic tiles. The directions to put it together are vague and took some time to figure out, but there aren’t a lot of pieces. The saw make a pretty big mess and sprays water, so it’s a good idea to use it outside or in an area that is easy to clean.

it did the job

The motor mount fasteners worked loose in less than 5 days of light duty binding the motor. Fortunately, the fasteners are visible from the water basin area and were accessible for tightening. This should not have happened and appears to be an assembly QC oversight.

First time tiling and it was excellent. Backsplash looks great. Was going to spend 350, but glad I tried this. Easy to use, no chips and can't wait to start on my flooring with it.

Saw worked well. We cut 3x6 subway tiles and 2x2 stone tiles. A bit hard to cut small slices as we had to push the tile thru the saw with another piece of tile so we would not to cut our fingers. Will do the job for small tile jobs. Not sure how well it would work with 12" or bigger tiles. Good for the price.

Handy little saw for tile and ceramics. Buy for less than the cost of renting. Guides are difficult to move.
