Made anchored concrete blocks for tent canopy legs w. anchors inside 8x8x8" concrete blocks!
Great product, but, I found starting with water then adding small amounts of it stirring as you go works better than the guidance on the container. When it starts to thicken, I stir fast and then pour into void. I used it to "lock" a canopy/tent's tubular metal legs into a permanent "weight" by pouring about a pint of the mix into each of 8"x8"x8" concrete half cinder blocks over several hours. (I put each block on a "cutout" of cardboard so it stayed IN the block. Also, let that first "pour" dry hard before continuing. I bent the tent anchors into a couple of "turns" so I could cement them into the blocks, too. This is where the anchoring cement worked great - when the level was about where the "eye" of each hook was just above the eventual last pour - I inserted the anchor and held it in place with a few sticks. Worked great and now we have 35+ pounds of anchor at each leg and secure tie down for canopy, too! (Make sure you wear gloves and protective eye gear and mix is "up wind" from yourself.)

The cement was easy to work with, but I would not recommend using towels for making cement planters, they are more difficult to work with and require a lot more cement than thinner fabrics.

This worked great for anchoring an umbrella holder into pavers....
This worked great for anchoring an umbrella holder into pavers. First I drilled a 2 5/8" hole in the center of a paver. I dug out enough dirt for the holder to fit. I cut a paper towel and put a dixie cup with the bottom cut out. I mixed the Quikrete as per instructions plus a little more water to allow a little more working time. I poured enough in until the holder bottomed out. I continued to pour around it until it wouldn't take any more. I waited 15 minutes to dry then pulled out the towel, tape, film, and cup. I filled the gap with sand and sprayed sealer. Took about 90 minutes for my first one and turned out great.

Good product so far, but dries up too fast
I used it for a small project where I was piling up some bricks in my garden. I used the cement between one floor and the next. It works pretty good, easy to use. The only issue I found is that when I mix it up with water, I found out that I had to do small amounts and use them right away because a minute later, it would be all dry and unusable. I basically mixed it up, pasted in about 2-3 bricks, put the ones on top and whatever cement was remaining was already solid. I discarded it, mixed more and repeated the process over and over again. Once I got the right amounts I needed to avoid waste, ti worked out pretty good.

Set up too quickly
Tried this twice and both times it was hard to use because it setup too quickly. Most if it got wasted.
